@@loilt5091 I totally agree with you! Leon does have these spectacular skills McDavid has, bit he is the man who makes it possible that others can perform spectacular. He is a fantastic team player and with McDavid together nearly not able to be stopped. For me is the last season record goal from McDavid the bester proof for the draisaitla abilities : fürst he made it a sensational pass to Connor and after he missed 8n then first try, Leon attacked in the offense zone di that two LA players had work together against him at the bench, but he Leon protected the puck and passed the puck again spectacular to McDavid - and then her scored his special goal! Leon hat isn't so strong and dangerous im early-ish every mom he is on the ice! I checked the last few season many times goals from the Oilers, nearly everytime they've scored when draisaitl was on the ice! That you can't say similar about McDavid. Today McDavid was strong, but Leon also was most time on the ice when the Oilers scored.... I hope McDrai will win with the hole team the cup! They would deserve it, they are awesome good both.

@@loilt5091 yeah! You are my man, i total agree with you! But watching Connor is also a pleasure.... If you i should select one to build a new team, i always would take Leon first! We will see where he is going to if the contract ends. I think he's not the guy who wants the absolute maximum,he for all wants a good team chemistry. Maybe he'll stay strong in edmonton with his body Connor - or maybe he will change. Normally he's to expensive for the Oilers, but we will see... A lot of teams will try to get him, I'm sure. Anyway, cheers!

Credit to sportsnet, the best highlights I've seen this year instead the standard boring format of 5 minutes covering the first period, actually showing the crooked California refs ignoring the trip and punch against the leagues best player at 2:07, a vicious crosscheck at 4:20 and a gutless cheap shot at 9:05. These type of refs should exposed, publicly embarrassed and fired. Shouldn't matter what the score is. They showed a fight too, which has been rare this year. Good job sportsnet!

That cross check should be every bit as suspendable as the call against the Flames Mangiapanne earlier this year. Same sort of intent to injure.

They also missed the high stick on Bouchard literally 2 feet in front of the ref. The replay in slow mo had the ref looking directly at them which makes it even worse.

Fair comment - Skinner just ain't that guy yet. Love TBL as well, wish they could be a tad more consistent. After pounding CAR and surviving EDM they would have some weird ass games with Vasy having some really bad nights. Knoblauch has so far been right though - they keep playing the way they'll do like they did against TBL they'll win 7 or 8 games out of 10.

The Oilers also just beat the BEST team in the East New York Rangers, then the L.A. Kings...They are 13--3 in their last 16 games....Stu Skinner is NUMBER 1 in WINS and NUMBER 2 in Shutouts since Nov.11....Pickard is now 3--1 as our new back up and looks very competent...and on the AHL team a kid named Rodrigue has a league leading .942 Sav%.....So not really that bad in net. As far as the Tampa game? ....Well, even Tampa fan's were saying that was the best game they had seen from Vassy in 2 years...the Oilers outshot Tampa 54---24 that night...Keep that up for an entire playoff series? Are you sure it was only Edmonton who got "exposed"

To be honest the Oilers had Tampa and then the Oilers blew it. It wasn’t like Tampa was destroying them the oilers held their own and the last matchup was not on Skinner not that game.
