@@yungsaucelord Out of all the games I mentioned, the oilers have wins over Vegas, Winnipeg, Carolina, NYR, Toronto, LA, Detroit, Philly (teams currently in the playoffs). They also beat NJD twice, Nashville, and Washington. If it’s so easy to go 25-4 in the last 29, why has no other team won 25 of 29 in any strech this season? Why has no team won 16 straight?

Agreed. They looked sluggish in the first period, letting the Ducklings dictate most of the action. I'm glad they woke up in time to score their final three goals on the end of the ice where I was.

Wasn't perfect, but a win's a win. Great start by Pickard, we lose this game without him. Excellent fightback in the third. Kane-Drai-Perry line was excellent and we're starting to see what we expected out of Perry. Hopefully that line keeps making life miserable for goalies in the future. Big two points, boys, see you tomorrow!!

Prior to the break, I said that I was more concerned about the Ducks breaking Edmonton's win streak than Vegas. Lucky for Vegas though, the refs put their whistles away... Anyway, another solid effort from the Ducks that had the Oil on their heals for good portions of the game. That team will be a force next season I'm sure.

@@RickL_was_here Injury bug hitting them hard this year. A full season with a healthy Carlsson, Zegras, McTavish, Terry and Gauthier in the top 6 would be unreal. Add in Zellweger being a full timer and Mintyukov in his sophomore year, they'll turn some heads

In addition to Perry (arguably) getting away with one on the goalie, he DEFINITELY gets away with a trip at 4:13. It's such a quintessential Perry play lmfao. He is SO good at being aware of what the refs are looking at. I hate it and I love it lol.

Different sport but the knicks seemed to have about 70% of the fans when they played in charlotte a few weeks back. That was one of the loudest ive ever heard away fans in an opponents building.

Nice work oilers! We defiantly looked sloppy at times but nice work getting the win. In relation to us getting sloppy, that first Strome goal displayed that. He was wide open, no one picked him up, he had all day to make a moved, and as a result completely undressed Pickard. That was a great goal.

Desharnais didnt push him out and drifted left ..think thats a lot on him..but it is a team... pickards fault primarily on 2 as well. Give away and goal.pretty.qhick..2nd he disnt bend his knees..was slow and dropped to knees too far out of net instead of skating back to jam the post. Im.still offy about pickard about this knee bending thing..

At 3:40 does Perry lose an edge, stumble or feign a trip? Then once the puck is in the net notice the quick chop from his knees at the foot of the ducks defender. All this after “displacing” Gibsons stick and tripping Bo Groulx seconds before the goal by Kane. He is full of mischief this Corey Perry.

Good to bounce back straight away after the streak was ended. However, the intense defending that was a hallmark of the streak is not there right now, giving up 3 goals to VGK is not surprising but giving up 3 to the Ducks is not good. Can’t blame Pick, he played well, and 2 were pp goals but the PK was very good on the streak - not so much last night.

Payback for the missed call from a bunch of years ago when the refs missed a blatant attack by Kesler on Smith in the playoffs? Also, a stick tap is hardly an attack. Also, if Gibson hadn't spent 10 seconds whining about it, he would have been in position to make the save.

Because the goalie let go of the stick too easily plus he was outside his crease as long as its not on the hands or breaks a stick its literally not a penalty, also it didnt impede on him making a save anyways.
