Yea unfortunately i think thats due to the Mcdavid effect. Nuge is having an amazing career year so far, but so is Mcdavid so Nuges success is being overshadowed by Mcdavids.

I don't think the Cup qualification would be much of a driving reason, but I'd say yes. Kostin has made very few mistakes - if any - since joining the Oilers. He's not quite as offensively explosive, but I do see him as a viable replacement for Kane. He works hard, makes smart decisions...he's basically the opposite of Nurse and Ceci. I like him.

I think 160 is a bit optimistic. I'm guessing 135ish. I'm not saying he an't reach 160, he defenitly got the skill for it. I just don't think the Oilers are playing well enough this year to help him get there.

Celebrating goals is a fundamental part of the game, and has been since hockey was created. I could understand wanting to see less of the showboaty cellies, but a normal team celebration of hugs/fist bumps? You want the players to just act like robots when they score, and show zero emotion? You must have been a very boring coach.
