7 points in 3 games despite 2 thumping. And he's been on the plus side in every game. He's off to a great start. Nuge too. 6 points +3 1,2 in scoring. It's too bad they had to break them up to get connor going.

I've always loved him and it still pisses me off at the way Oilers fans treat him. Not every goal is his fault. They have piss poor defense that hang their goalies out to dry. Roy, Hasek, Brodeur and many more greats wouldn't be able to help their defense.

In Toronto I've seen Campbell look this good even better for 2 years for the most part, all star goalie not picked by the fans he was legit picked by the NHL. Broke a leafs record for 12 straight wins .. had a 940 save % for the first 40 games of the season . As I keep saying, Campbell is NOT the issue and neither is Skinner. It pisses me off that people, especially Oilers fans, attack them like they're the main issue. Hoe about, McDavid and Dri need either a PP or a breakaway to score, the other offensive players have been a no show until this game and their defense is HORRIBLE. The goalie should be the last line of defense, not the first. The team needs every player on the team to step up and help, including guys that don't play defense, like McDavid and Dri. If they can do that then the goalies should be fine.

@@tej5626 The best way I like to out it is, think of a great player on a team you may not like (Matthews-Toronto, Marchand-Boston, Mack-Colorado, etc.). For this example I'll use Matthews as most Oilers fans don't like the Leafs. If Matthews were to pull off this exact goal, which he could, how impressed would Oilers fans be either it? If scoring a hattrick in each of the first 2 games doesn't impress Oilers fans then I doubt very much pulling this goal off definitely wouldn't. If it wouldn't impress you of Matthews did it then how is it impressive when McDavid does it? I'm all for cheering for your team and being happy when something good happens but it's the biased people that bug me the most. Despite the first 2 Oilers games/losses, there were still Oilers fans in the Leafs games comments degrading and insulting not only the team but also the fans for being happy over an achievement that's only happened 5 times in history. I call out every troll/hater/idiot. The biggest troll/idiot on the Oilers comments is Kooda, who's a Leafs fan. It doesn't mean all Leafs fans are bad because of him and not all Oilers fans are bad for the behavior òf some Oilers fans. Like I said, I call it like I see it.

This was the best cinematic experience I’ve ever had, the characters, the twist, and the action. It was all so perfect. The complexity of these characters, like how McDavid picked admin or how Draisatl redeemed himself and saved the entire server. Even the side story’s were amazing, the great dog war was suspenseful, it was mesmerizing seeing two forces of nature battle it out, and theme about never giving up. The symbolism about good vs evil and enjoyment was just perfect, like when everyone left the servers, Hyman was still there, most of the time he’d find fun out of hurting other people, since there were no people in the server, what fun was there to be had. He searched around the server looking for answers and enjoyment, but he couldn’t find any. In the end He gazed at the sunset, possible wishing he would be having so much fun as he was when he was hurting people. Then he left, realizing him being there was just useless. The NPCs represent society and how there is no imagination nor fun within it. The story was phenomenal, beautiful, and like I said many times perfect. Hopefully this tale would last for generations, spreading the wonderful themes of this magnum opus.

Leon and Nuge are off to a hot start this season. Despite the horrible start to the season they're 1-2 in scoring (7 & 6 pts in 3 games) and along with Hyman the only players on the plus side. Hyman by the way is right behind them with 5 points in 3 games. Kinda sad they broke up that line to put Draisaitl back with McDavid. But Nuge and Hyman are still looking good without Draisaitl.

Honestly, I'm beginning to think he is. Draisaitl can play with anyone. He can get anyone producing. He can speed up or slow his game down to match his linemates. They say great players make those around them better. 10 years in and oilers are still trying to find someone to play with McDavid not named Draisaitl. It's like McDavid can't adapt his game. He has to play with someone that thinks the game as fast as he does and sees the ice like he does. And there is probably a handful of Players that can do that. Gretzky made Dave Semenko a 20 goal scorer. He could elevate anyone. Break up the Draisaitl Nuge Hyman Line put Draisaitl back with McDavid and he has his 1st + game of the season and a 2 point night. Nuge slides back into center and takes over Draisaitl role and he and Hyman still manage to have a big night. All 3 players are the only ones on the plus side in those Vancouver loses. Draisaitl 7pts Nuge 6 pts. Hyman 5 points. Draisaitl makes your Team better. McDavid dominates other players 1 on 1. If you can get him the puck. He's definitely much better with Draisaitl than without. Draisaitl is great no matter who he's playing with, or whether he is skating or standing still on a busted ankle. Finds a way to adapt his game to whatever conditions or linemates are.

Oilers finally realized preseason was over. That or just glad there were no Canucks around. Preds just not ready in the opening period. They needed to play tomorrow instead of tonight. The first week of the season was draining.

It was a good game for them but they need to work on defense alot more, including Dri and McDavid. Scoring 6 goals every game is nut going to work and neither is blaming the goalie when they lose.
@michaelscore6763
@michaelscore6763 7 ай бұрын
@@jeffreycairns767 I'm totally with you in basics! The goalies are not the weakest part of the team, they aren't both good - but maybe the wrong selection! Skinnier is young and needs a lot of time and experiences, then he has the potential to become with the years a really great goalie! He is talented! Also Campbell is, but being a goaltender in edmonton means thats you have strongly nerves and confidence. Here Campbell is weak, that's no his strength - it's the jon of the team hiving him the chance to get the confidence he needs, he has to get way to more credits by the audience! In my opinionated it would have been better for the Oilers contracting a goalie within stronger history and in older age which is a good teacher forever skinner also. For example grubauer, he had already long-term runs to the finals in the Stanley cup and he gets stronger and stronger every week the season goes on. And at the end he wins nearly alone game 7 against the avalanche last year. Now Campbell us them go alien hand i thinking he has potential, i hope they're hive him time! I think the Oilers need forgive all a hard blue liner and note "two way defenseman" without skills and a lot of of points! Here is the key to stop the opponent, to give them no shots in dangerous slots! But at the moment there are these goalies alone against the offense of the opponent, that's why they get so many goals! The hype is Herr is only a around McDavid, not draisaitl. Draisaitl is a outstanding good player. Nearly everything here does is dangerous! I saw a video with Sidney Crosby last year and there was he named Draisaitl as the man who protects the puck at its best - that says all. Änderungen if you see goal number 60 from Connor last season, you can see who the key player is - first draisaitl makes a unbelievable pass from the own zone to McDavid, than after he missed the goal draisaitl attacks the LA d-man do that then second LA player has to come for help. But draisaitl got the puck at the bench and played a other pass to McDavid ad nowadays here scored! Drai us so dangerous, they need to 2 or 3 players to stope him an so there is a lot of room on the ice for McDavid or others to score.... But everybody talks about the 60th goal and not about the magnificent assist from Drai.... That's Edmonton! Anyway, good luck and cheers!

Have you watched the goals against yielded by the Preds in period 1? There was nothing Saros could do to prevent goals 1-3 as the Oilers' scorers were left wide open, and no. 4 was a 1-on-1 vs. best forward in the world after a terrible puck whiff by a Preds Dman. With the game out of reach after period 1 there was no sense in keeping Saros in goal. And Lankinen is a solid backup to boot it. Imho, Preds head coach Brunette should not have started Saros at all since this was Saros' 4th game in 8 days.

@@danilolapierre5610 I’ve read articles about us having a problem with overplaying Saros. Tons of fans are calling to get rid of Saros and saying it was his fault last night even though it’s not not like he’s the one that was supposed to score the goals for us which our team hardly did and people were worshipping him when we had a shutout when we played the kraken. The entire team is to blame for last night….

Is it just me or are the Oilers coming across as extremely lazy this game? Check the work in front of the goal @ 2:42 .. nobody gives a s.. to clear the puck or move it to a safe distance. You'll need to be a D level beer league player if you don't realize, there are 3 offensive players a couple of inches away ..
