Next year Sid breaks Wayne Gretzky's point per game season streak. Next year or the year after Ovechkin breaks Gretzky's goal record. 87=997 assists will break Mario's franchise record of 1,033 assists next year.

Yahh buddy there’s the penguins I know and remember! All around played better and our big boys espically our biggest and right now team carrying player/players stood up. if only it were this every game or close to we’d be playing in the playoffs in a year where Sid deserves it and should be at the level he’s playing at. He’s done it all already but proving that he’s not even close to done. Some can’t say or show the same.

7:00 I remember one of the Steve Dangle proposed rules changes, having the goalie's glove count as its own pocket dimension. That was much more impressive as a save than a goal.

Yea still can't believe how on earth the pens beat really good teams but just get stomped by crap teams. I think it's alot to do with sully tho and wish they would get rid of him but what do u do when the coach needs fired but hasn't even begun his first year in his new contract. This teams is made of HORRIBLE contracts

Literally every top team has this season. Van, Winn, Colorado, Boston, NYR, Carolina, Toronto, LA, Vegas. I think Florida and Dallas are the only ones that they didn't beat this year. Pens are inconsistent, but not as bad as their record suggests.

@@earthquakkejake9894 Says someone who clearly hasn't 'checked the numbers'. Pen's goaltending and team defense was top 10 until the las few weeks. Jarry led the league in shutouts. Goal support, particularly the PP, was the biggest issue this season.

@earthquakkejake9894 have you checked the numbers? Jarry was around or in the top 10 in GAA and SV% for most of the season, and only regressed the past month or so. The same time Ned's numbers started becoming inconsistent. The same time the team started playing much worse defense. Goaltending has been a bright spot for the team overall. Jarry has struggled recently, but he's not the problem.

Wes McCaulay... gift that keeps on giving... Scratch Trouba and Cuylle... One of those games where NOTHING went our way... surprised they even gave that Kakko goal tbh... reminds me of the 22 series where rangers went 0/8 in deciding calls like guentzel high stick goal or Kakko/Chytil winner being called for goalieinterference... its not that the refs hate Rangers, they just love Crosby and the pens. Go rewatch that series if you actually wanna see the most onesided reffing ever in a playoffs series.. (If Crosby doesnt get injured we lose that series because of the fraudulent refs) I remember after 4 or so games the penalty minutes the pens had was still below 10 minutes... not because they stayed disciplined ill add...

They called one penalty on the Rangers for an infraction. 3 on the Pens. Don't challenge a 50/50 call and learn to count the number of players on the ice. But it was the refs.
