If Tom Wilson did that same exact thing he’d be suspended no doubt. Not saying it would’ve made a difference in the game. But some sportsmanship and accountability is the bare minimum. Cowardly play from Dobson. He’s an extremely soft player.

Mika Z should have been called for embellishment. Desperate attempt. He also close-lined Palmieri early in the game. No call there, so stop your whining, you didn't play your best, and you didn't get the late goal. The Hockey Gods have spoken!

Please stop. Lafreniere took a nice dive at the end of the Stadium Series game that the refs just ate up like it was a big piece of chocolate cake. Had the jerseys been reversed embellishment surely would have been called.

I didn’t watch this game but that hit on Trochek absolutely deserved a penalty call. Probably wouldn’t have changed the outcome but that’s a seriously terrible no-call.

If you wanna give Dobson a crosscheck or a board there, you also have to call the next two Rangers that came in and did THE SAME THING to Dobson and the next player. The meltdown is just emotions running high but to employ cheap-shot masters like Trouba and Rempe and then cry about a nothing burger hit in the final 7 secs is classic Rangers.

Amazing the Isles fans boasting as if they didn’t get dominated in that 3rd period. It looked like an AHL team, couldn’t even sniff the puck. Still credit to Isles, prevent defense worked (won’t work every time though)

The Rangers have clinched a playoff spot weeks ago vs a team that if lost tonight, might not even make a wild card spot. One team has no need to give 100% while the other needed to give 120%… yet it was still close. I wouldn’t get too high and mighty off one dub there buckaroo

Rangers sleepwalking through the first period, when they turn it on, Islanders literally couldn’t touch the puck. 3rd period was basically an extended power play for NYR. Credit to the Islanders though, they went into a shell and blocked everything
