This team is represented by a winged wheel, not a winged wheel oh and also a garbage collection company that wants to grift the great name of an Original Six franchise. It's such a crying shame IMO.

@@icedo1013 whats sad is that the organization doesnt even NEED the extra money. Red wings get one of if not the highest attendance rates per game than any other team. Amd just to rub salt in the wound the trash patch moved the Cs and As to the other side of the jersey

Not weird, he's shown talent, but matured both physically, mentally and his overall game this season. Top 6 minutes and some PP and he will give this team many good seasons.

@@phillytheflyerable Yeah thats a bit weird. Larkin has been injured though. Debrincat got off to a hot start but cooled down cobsiderably. Kane joined during the season and after rehab.

Too many fans thought last season's offensive outburst guaranteed this season's playoffs, realistically we are in the third year of our rebuild and the boys have improved and solidified, one example is that they did not have any prolonged winless stretches this season

@@motsnrub he definitely lost, but a bunch of no power noogies to the back of the helmet and a couple to the back of the head is far from “whooping”. But in todays watered down NHL and with all the new fans, these lackluster fights seem to be considered regular ol’ thunderdome…

Баффало неплох, очень неплох в последние недели. Но Детройт провел хорошую игру и выцарапал нужные 2 очка. Реймонд вырос в классного крайнего напа, быстрый, техничный, неуступчивый, нацеленный на ворота, не боящийся силовой борьбы. Радует что Эдвинсон осваивается и уже вписался в систему "крыльев", следующий сезон должен начать уверенным стартером. Ну и Патрик Кейн остается Кейном, одним из самых скилловых нападающих лиги. Летом тренерам Детройта надо подтягивать к основе и наигрывать другую молодежь - Каспера, Дэниелсона, Сандина-Пеллику, потому как будущее франшизы все равно за молодежью.

Congratulations Detroit on showing how a rebuild should actually be (i.e., finding a good balance between developing draft picks(Sieder and Raymond) and picking up some v. good free agents) and starting this game like it meant something. As for the Sabres, what a truly awful first period. For such a must win game, they started like it was was a pre season game. I have to question the coaches as they've been a terrible first period team all season. For me they need to get rid of Granato and bring someone in that will give them a bit of an edge. The talent is there but no backbone, as well as having a pathetic powerplay and I believe last at faceoffs.

Det isnt rebuilding though the Debrincat trade and contract is what a reloading team who is trying to win the cup would do. A rebuilding team would be foolish to do that trade and contract.

No, we are definitely rebuilding. Seider, Edvinsson, Joe Velano, Raymond are in the lineup. We mix our young guys with veterans. Yzerman is using Scotty Bowmans philosoph. You dont just throw all of our prospects out there. It would hurt their development. Also Debrincat is like 25yrs old. Hes a young guy that will help our rebuild. We also have Perron and some vets to help our young guys. We also have some very good prospects that you will see in next season and the season after that. Last years draft we took Nate Danielson at 9th overall and we drafted the best European defenseman in the entire draft last year at 17th overall. He will be a red wing within 2yrs. We also drafted Marco Casper 8th overall 2 seasons ago and hes already played a few games. Hes 19yrs old and the dude played with a broken kneecap last season. Our prospect pool is one of the best in all of hockey. But throwing them all out there is counterproductive and could hurt their development. So we bring up a few young guys and let them learn from good vets like Kane and Larkin. Larkin is like 26yrs old. Also, we have yet to get a first overall pick. The lottery has screwed us a couple times. So we have to build differently. @@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants

@@Detwhat 8 mill of cap that is not a 1 year deal is clearly not a rebuilding trade or contract for cat. A rebuilding team would have wanted to trade a player at the deadline like the sharks did with duclair or they would have not even traded for cat because they not good enough as a team yet he will even matter. 8 mill of cap room you can trade for at least a 2nd round pick from another team each season. A rebuilding team would rather have the 2nd round pick or a cheap prospect. The Wings are reloading.

I mean.. we gave up 39 shots and blocked an additional 27. Anyone who watched that game could tell the Sabres came out like ass... Wings punished... And then we played "let them shoot a bunch and hope Lyon wins for us" hockey. Lalonde is not a good coach. You can't lose 7 in a row... Say none of them are must win games because we never really expected to make the playoffs, and act like you are a quality NHL coach. Czarnik single handedly lost us the Rangers game and he did literally nothing of value today. He blocked a shot with his face that was going towards the wrong net... But otherwise completely invisible and took a tripping penalty that lead to a goal. 12 mins ice time. 40% faceoff 0 shots He was a +1 because he stepped on the ice and was at the red line when Kane scored... And took a penalty that cost us a goal. And the game before he was a -2 with 5 mins ice time and assisted on a Rangers goal. He shouldnt be on the ice let alone 2nd line centre.

@@DrinkingBird69czarnik is fast and can keep up well with debrincat and can create a lot of offense so ya i think lalonde knows what he’s doing your wrong you just are not everything is the coach’s fault like delusional people like you always want to blame.the czarnik turnover against the rangers was not his fault we lost it was on the entire team they played bad defense against the rangers . I like to see you try to handle our lines and be our coach and mess up this team.

sabres need to get rid of granoto. they have the roster to win a cup they lack the coaching staff that will give the roster the edge and fire in their ass to go out and play stealthy every game. if sabres can haul in tom wilson or someone close to him they will be very dynamic because hes a ket piece that balances out the roster preventing teams from bullying the sabres around. ya need a goddamn coach tho. donny aint it. that team is too loaded to be authorized be an inexperienced coach. thats like a bank trusting me with 5 million dollars they would be like get this dude the fck out of here
