The rest of their schedule isn't terrible. But there are some trap games in there and definitely some games that they need to win against tougher opponents

@@soulknife20 Honestly, Avs don't have to win against the tougher opponents at all, but they will definitely have some wins. There's 10 games remaining against the bottom teams, that's another 20 possible points from the worst 5 teams on the schedule... do the math, currently 76 points. that's exactly the point count that guarantees making playoffs and generally isn't required.

Tbh, games like this can be harder to get a shutout. You're left standing there being cold when the puck finally gets to you and isn't very uncommon to let one slip through.

What a pissed off Avalanche team coming off a couple of tough losses. Great morale boost. When they’re on, they’re unbeatable. Looking forward to Landy coming back for the playoffs.

I still think the Avs should have secured playoffs with Kane given the fact they had 20 million + with cap space and Long term injuries in Landy and EJ ..

The Avs had the puck in the offensive zone for so long in the 1st I though they were going to open up an open skate on the other end.

Couple of things. Great bounceback by the Avs. 2nd. That should have been a boarding penalty. Moose was real lucky. And the high stick on Karlsson should have been one too.

I wish highlight reels would show the “should have been a penalty” or fight injuries ect… this polished up version takes away from the momentum shift in games and is why hockey is such an Ironman sport
