The rest of the team and the coach stood with him. That's why they didn't do the Pride flags and the prides rainbow colored hockey sticks... And they all wore the normal jerseys... I really believe that if everyone stopped watching these sports on TV and stop going to the games, that it would stop.. Fast! Problem is though, that such Die Hard fans don't seem to care about this garbage. My Family has always been Die-hard NFL Fans, but, we All stopped watching the games and going to them, the minute they started the knee bending against our National Anthem and our US flag. It's not hard to do if you totally disagree with their sick practices.

Like many people.under the age of 40 these days...many just arent that religious. Theyre "cafeteria christians''. Meaning, they were born into it through baptism and never went to church much or understand/study the scriptures. Its more of a culture. Securalism. So its easy for them to just do what they think theyre supposed to do. Once an actual believer like Povy says "no!" people are taken aback and then go..."oh yeah...were christians remember". I fully support this man and to be honest I think this entire LGBQT stuff should not even be talked about in sport and school. Its not just "supporting" someones right to choose their lifestyle. Its become a whole ideology now and its complicated. Why do we have to jam this stuff down peoples throats? Same with military stuff...I understand foundations for cancer and autism etc. but Religion, Politics, ideologies and War should be out of schooo and sport period.

Nor should he have to wear a certain garment if it offends his beliefs. Every one has different beliefs and faiths. To be inclusive means to accept those who also differ with you.

How about just plain and simple some people don't want to be walking billboards for every trendy "cause" out there. Doesn't mean you are a hater or a bad person. Everyone should be free to live their own lifestyle, but it is not anyone else's duty to make political statements about certain select ones, and that's the problem.
