I was there for the panthers game where we took them to OT and after holding our zone after the miraculous 6 or 7 blocked shots, LCA was absolutely crazy. I love the energy this year and man this season has been a great thing to watch so far.

I'm a Rangers' fan. I was watching that game where Swayman made that save (the first one you showed). I immediately said, "That's a Hat Pick." It's got two of Steve's favorite things in a save. Desperation and a paddle. Now, Steve, we have to talk, because letting us hear your dog, mentioning your dog, and then NOT SHOWING YOUR DOG, well, that's a Dang-It!

@@michaelthompson2474 Hintz getting his first hatty is one thing, but those 3 back-to-back-to-back saves were far and away more impressive. Carolina should have scored on one of those shots, especially the 3rd one shot straight into the glove.

In 2018 Vejmelka played in CHL against my hometown team Neman Grodno in Belarus. Although our team surprisingly won that game, he played really well and it was a pleasure to watch him live. I was very surprised when I saw him in the net for Arizona, but I’m very happy for him now. The way he plays is impressive. A massive HAT-PICK and all the best in his career. P.S. @@dennis_burgess Because Ned is the younger player and the one we are hoping can hold down the pipes until Cossa is ready. Greiss is not a long-term guy. Ned is looking like a pretty good steal, not a guy that was all smoke and mirrors playing behind a better defense. The hope was that Ned would come in and be a true #1. Greiss was outplaying him earlier in the season, but Ned is now putting pretty clear separation between him & Greiss. He's had some huge games lately and he looks legit. If all we have to worry about going forward is a back-up tender, that fixes that position and Stevie can funnel more resources elsewhere.

@@Weeping_Somnambulist if all goes well, maybe Greiss can be trade bait at the deadline. I mean, yeah, you'd be stuck with pickard as your backup then, but if a team is desperate and needs goaltending help. I don't think Det makes it this yr, still too leaky defensively and not enough depth after the first line.

DEFINITELY some missed hat picks here for the Dallas Stars. Oettinger's stats (and near-shutout performance) was debatably a hat pick. Joe Pavelski breaking number 400 with 2 goals in 56 seconds was a HISTORIC hat pick, honestly shocked you missed that one.

My only beef with making it a regular thing is that it would chomp on Daryl "Razor" Reaugh's (a former goalie) "Razor's Curio Emporium"/"Winporium" flavor. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if Steve watches them sometimes and said it as an homage.

I was at that Wings-Blues game. Nedeljkovic was standing on his head and kept the Wings in the game the whole night. The whole arena was yelling NED! NED! NED! This was most definitely the save of the year so far. LGRW!!

As far as Couture being nice, I briefly lived in the same building as him and the couple times I met him he was friendly enough. He seemed to be a pretty quiet guy (at least to strangers he's passing in the parking garage/elevators) but he was nice enough.

With Tage Thompson having a dinge on his name since he got traded from St Louis, I think people also forget how young he still is! I'm a Blues fan and he was only 18 or 19 when he was a Blue, so he's currently 24. I feel kind of bad for how he got thrust into those situations at that age, and I hope he has a bright future ahead.

I'm late to the video, but Ned made like the exact same save about two minutes later because apparently the Red Wings defence doesn't learn from their mistakes when the Blues' offence completely undresses them.
