Ryan Kesler and RJ Umberger. Both were linemates in college and drafted together by Vancouver. Kesler signed his ELC first but was angry that Umberger used his contract as a barometer for signing his own ELC resulting in some bad blood. Umberger was furious that GM Brian Burke wouldn’t give him 100k more than Kesler’s contract, and he sat the whole season before being traded. Since then Kesler and Umberger would get into many scraps and altercations against each other.

As a Sens fan, that 2017-2018 season was a complete s*** show. That was not the only thing tearing the team apart but the Hoffman/Karlsson situation was definitely the biggest.

Shanahan was always known as one of the biggest assholes by teammates and Ribeiro wasn't even half the player/leader that Koivu was Montreal and everyone respected and admired Koivu

With all my interactions with hockey players ALL the way from playing with them for the first 30 years of my life to following Junior, College, and Professional hockey I've never been able to say that those adjectives came to mind ONCE.

They must have gotten their Shanahan controversies mixed up. The thumbnail is probably a reference for when the Blues signed Shanahan as a restricted free agent, and the Devil's were awarded Scott Stevens as compensation

Tiger Williams wasn't popular with some of his teammates on the Maple Leafs and it seems he actually fought with Ian Turnbull off fhe ice. Though they appeared to have made amends later on. Williams was very critical of Turnbull in his autobiography however.

He’s 5’10’ on his best day. Want to see a small goalie look at Allen beater at 5’5 I think Darren pang was 5’4 but of the two I remember bester played longer and had a more meaningful career. Don’t forget mike Vernon who’s also like 5’8-9 and he won two Stanley cups as their starter not some backup who hit a token ring. Guys today standing 6’3-6 covering post to post just kneeling down are a fucking joke, man. Biggest goalies back then we’re Sean burke at 6’3 but he didn’t wear the same pads as these guys today.

This is all fables. For example, Rob Brind'Amour wouldn't be able to call Eric Lindros out for not playing because Eric Lindros's concussion problems started in '99 Playoffs against the Devils and Rob was traded earlier in the year. This is horrendous hearsay and the facts don't line up bud

Just goes to show you that you shouldn’t believe everything you hear, or post it as a “story.” The Lindros/Brind’amour story is just that a story. And you prove it by saying something about Lindros suffering a concussion in the 2001 season, Brind’amour was traded late 99/ early 2000 and Lindros sat out the 2001 for the flyers until he was traded to New York.

Lindros first serious concussion was in 98 however when kasparitis hit him….goes to show that you shouldn’t act like a know it all when you don’t even have the basics. By the way, that story is true.

Yep, this was the very first one to pop into my head. Leeman caught shaggin Big Al's wife and getting knocked da F out. I vaguely recall a picture of Leeman after looking like got hit by a train and the cover story was an accident in practice. About a year later rumours of what really happened started coming out. Another couple of players that absolutely hated each other was Patrick Roy and Mathieu Schneider.

Rick Tocchet hit Lindros in practice and knocked him out. For his comments he Made to Brind'Amour that he can have him gone if he didn't like it . 2 days later Scott Stevens missed Chicken Wing Check occurred and Lindros was out again.

Definitely Ryan Kesler banging Cory Schneiders fiancé was a bad one, can confirm through a friend who knew Shane O'Brien that he confirmed it was more than just a rumor. Kesler destroyed that locker room and Schneider wanted out but not many people knew why. That's what actually happened and was a demise of that strong Canucks team most definitely in ways

Roenick acting like a self centered ass isnt a schtick he puts on for the cameras- hes a diva. Marleau is the complete opposite personality. Roenicks slam of Marleaus playoff performances doesnt hold water as they both have similar stats. You couldve included the Jeff Brown sleeping with Kirk McLeans wife. There were rumours too about Kesler and Corey Schneiders gf as well. Teammates dont embrace guys who sleep with teammates wives or gf's, one mistake can follow you for the rest of your career.

Add about 90% of teammates who couldn't stand subban. The only ones I know of that liked him were markov and Dale Weiss. Look up "Locker Room Cancer" in the dictionary and Subban's face is there
