Reinbacker erased any doubt when he finished the year in Laval. His European team finished next to last and he couldn't carry the whole team on his shoulders. Once he crossed over the pond he was great to watch. So it's a no go if they ask for Reinbacker. I would trade Guhle first to be honest.

KH said word for word in his last presser that he doesn’t intend to make a sideway move, meaning he won’t trade a young talent for another one. Ghule, Hutson, Reinbacher & Mailloux are NOT being traded whatsoever.

So Mtl gets Necas, Carolina gets Ehlers, and we get Mtl scraps lmao!!! Get serious dude!! Wpg can just trade with the Canes, Ehlers for Necas and sweeten it up a bit with Chaz Lucius or Ville Heinola if needed. Either way you must be a Habs fan to suggest this trade.

They want to add a T6 for 1-3 years max. That’s why they didn’t get J March, he wanted 4+. There is no way Rien, Guhle, or Hudson get moved for any “older” (27+ F). Hugo has a plan & they’re sticking to it.

I don't understand why so much hype on Necas. He's good, yes, but he doesn't worth that much. If the habs trade Ghule for Necas, that would be considered as the first failure of Hughes. Winnipeg would be the winner.

Winnpeg isn't rebuilding if we're giving up a 60-point producer who can exit the zone and skate like the wind. Unlike anyone else, we're not getting back some maybes or could bees or or anything like that. It's not like Montreal's had a great track record in drafting so to speak. Weren't understood if it's not directly for NECAS we're not interested. We're not San Jose

Wpg D is full. If they are giving up Ehlers it needs to be for a top 6 forward. Not a defenseman. Canes D is pretty solid too. Both teams need forwards. Plus the jets aren't giving.g up ehlers for a pic or a prospect

I want to keep Guhle, but if he goes I can't see any "massive hole" at this position considering we'd still have 5 lefthanded defesemen: Matheson, Xhekaj, Hutson, Struble, Harris. Two of these must go. It’s easy to say Harris and Struble, but it depends who you want in return!

Terrible trade idea. Ghule is going to be the Anchor of our D core for the next 12-15 years. Trading Ghule would be a bigger mistake than taking KK instead of Brady.

It's doubtful Carolina does any trade with Montreal after the Bergevin debokal. If Montreal wants Necas, they will need a silent third party that deals with Carolina.

@@gauds18 ok so ehlers has 1 less point than Matheson and does not bring much. Matheson immediately improves your PP and speeds up your backend zone exits. So it needs to be matheson for ehlers + something. The +something would be Mcgroarty for a 2nd is more than enough.

@@haybaile9478 Jets defense need a serious boost. They can't expect to be competitive. Ehlers is the expendable piece. I have watched enough Jets games for sure. Ehlers is overvalued from your fan base, he can go for long silence stretches. As a Hab fan, I would certainly pass on Ehlers ;)

Mtl should not trade Guhl, & espsecially not Reinbach. Trade Mathesn at the deadline, trade Dvork/or Arm (whichever one teams take for a 4th/5th Rdr), also Evan, & 1 of Harri or Barrn - for mid round picks, & buy out Gallagh next summer
