@@lg3988 His visor getting messed up was the night after the 5-4 goal on the 2 on 1 that he very didn't defend. Wrong Severson miscue, although I don't blame him at all for the visor thing.

I think Holtby didn't even care they were losing and didn't really try to stop the puck since it was his former team that they were playing against. What pisses me off even more is that he was all laughing with them and chatting them up like it was nothing. I get doing that BEFORE the game but not after getting pulled. To me that was just disrespectful to us Stars fans. I get that Washington is home for him(he said it was) but still the fact that he was just all friendly with them while we were down that much just rubbed me the wrong way. That made me respect him a little less now. You are a Stars player now Holtby and you can't let your personal feelings(missing playing for the Capitals) get in the way of ACTUALLY playing your hardest against your former team. You have to be respectful of your new team and the fans. We don't want to see you get all chummy with your former team after getting pulled. You should be pissed that you let in that many goals. I mean look at other players when they face their old teams. They don't get super chummy with their former team(before the game I understand). They will play hard and will try to win and even fight former teammates because they KNOW that now they represent their new team. I don't see Seguin getting all super friendly when he plays against the Bruins(that was his old team). The same should go for Holtby. I hope he got chewed out for the disrespect to us fans.

It would have been better if he had started Oettinger instead of Holtby because Holtby didn't really seem to care that we were losing against his former team or try too hard to stop them. He was too happy laughing with them after being pulled. Just disrespectful to us fans in my opinion. I have less respect for him now because of that.

He had his share of boneheaded plays like that when he was with the Caps. There was one time he came almost to the damn blue line to play the puck. Luckily that didn't burn him, but more than once, I screamed, "Get back in the net, Braden!"

@@hwald4487 true, us yotes fans have been pretty humbled over the past season. And it's not like the yotes won in a blowout. Both teams fought till the end of the game.

@@mrblake5997 yeah Avs found a bad habit of making sure the goalies playing and I hate it its like they forgot part of there identity playing down to teams they fell apart in the third would have love to see Kuemps get the game but whatever at least he got his shutout first time back to the Valley...... honorable mention to Wedgewood he played amazing!
