I have seen many people complain about the accuracy of the goal horns in NHL 15. Please help us by sharing this video with EA so they can notice it, watch it, and eventually add the correct goal horns in NHL 16. Remember that it's not big deal to contact a team to get a simple recording file of the goal horn.

This is the default tuning of the crowd and goal horn. You can tune down everything excepted the goal horn in the audio settings to make the goal horn louder.

I agree. Some recordings like the Bruins are loud enough but others (Lightning/Avalanche) aren't loud enough.

BmanHasSnipes and a French announcer for Montreal. Montreal doesn't seem authentic AT ALL in NHL 15. If only they could add the little things for each team... I was disappointed when they promised authentic arenas but they still all seem the same copy/paste with different jerseys.

EA Sports always boasts about trying to be as accurate and authentic as possible, yet they can't get accurate goal horns. Here's to hoping 16's horns will be a little better, but I highly doubt it.

The Panthers just need to make it into the playoffs like 2012. The lockout shortened 2013 season saw decent crowds from the BB&T center. And from personal experience there is a crowd but most of it is in the nosebleeds

EA has confirmed that they will be making EVERY goal horn authentic in NHL 16. Can't wait to see what they've done. They have also said about 2/3 of the goal songs will be in the game.

The horn is what drives the insanity after a goal! A unique sound for the home team! If i'm playing as the Canucks at home, every time I score I want the fans to be deafening, then I want the horn to ram it all down the visiting team's throat!

Couple years ago Ottawa's horn only sounded three times like what's on the game. Like I said, it doesn't matter how many times or how long it blast. Needs to be the proper goal horn for each team.

Am I the only one here who would rather have any of the commentaters shown in this vid than doc. Ckmmentaters need to be more lively to sound like ur actually watching it live. EX. Sound more suprised etc. It would be cool if EA added different commentaters for each team, based on the usual commentators that commentate their respective teams. When they play at home obviously. E.X. Joe Bowen for the Leafs, Craig Simpson and Jim Hughson for Leafs, Canucks, Flames etc. U get the point. But I understand how troublesome it would be for EA to sponser with every company and hire every commentator. Other than that great video, Ive noticed the flaws in these horns since nhl 12, EA definately become lazy and sloppy when it comes to things they think ppl wont noticed. I remember how much the flawed horns pissed me off. Definately sharing this vid, would love to have EA take a look at how horns should be done. From the MASTER! EA uses a set of 7-8 songs for their horns prob cause copyright, although idk how they wouldn't be able to get the rights to use it, the only song that is actually in a horn is kernkraft 400.

If only we had the media options from last gen. It took a long time to do but I had all the actual horns with the right songs, team intros with PA announcer and a bunch of team specific music like the Sharks starting a powerplay or the Rangers winning a game. Great times...

G20 Yeah, I did the whole shebang for each and every team thanks to some files found at OperationSports forums. Horns, goal songs, offplay music, power play/penalty kill music, intros, everything. It seems like it could be done with the Media Player app that is now on the PS4 (not sure about XBone), but the downside would be that you would have to have some USB plugged in all the time in order to use the custom music feature. With the Blues, I pretty much found everything I could find for each and every category. For other teams, I tried to do the same, but the least I tried to get for all teams was a goal horn and intro music.

Absolutely correct. The Montreal horn sounded like it got rid of one of the higher pitched bells. Also they got Buffalo wrong but Nashville right? They're almost the exact same! And giving our horn to Dallas? Not even close. Detroit's sounds like a lake freighter. Dallas' horn sounds like the backing trumpet to a cowboy riding off into the sunset over about 3 tones. And generated for the Rangers horn? Bitch please. I'm pretty sure if EA couldn't do the legwork on KZfaq or with the FDNY to record a fire truck horn, fucking lazy. Winnipeg is completely wrong. And the subtlety in Washington's horn difference is hard for some to pick up. Old horn sounded like it came off a snow plow. New one sounds midway between Minnesota and Florida.

Flyers Tampa and St Louis use the exact same kalenberg horn I think flyers use a high psi and has been said to be 2nd loudest after chicago

Fun fact: The oilers horn is Generic Horn 3 from NHL 2004 and has been the Oilers' default horn in every NHL game to date. Kinda sad, really.

They really need goal songs in 16. Teams like the Rangers' HEY! thing (As with the YES! chant at Islander games) and the Blackhawks goal song are so important to the team's identity, and if EA wants to make the 'most realistic hockey simulator on the market', they need to do this.

***** I wouldn't be so sure about that... Our current GM has put together a certain team you probably know in his former team that made a Cup in 3 of 6 years. Now we got the best goalie, the best defenseman, and one of the best forwards. Thw 2 Gally's have new and fresh talent up and coming, and Beaulieu might become paired with Subby here in a little while which might be an insane pairing. We also have Petry who's proven himself this past quarter of a season. Currently you guys have Rask (mediocre the past season, was kickass in 13-14 but NEWS FLASH that's not this up and coming year), Bergeron... other than that, maybe Chara (who's a goon)... not sure otherwise except some cheapshot people On second thought, you maybe right about us not winning soon. Because there's still like 110 days to go or so until the season starts so it'll be a while yet. ;)

Tommy Sandal I think none of us are gonna win soon because hawks are winning again and again and maybe kings if they can make it to playoffs. I hope next season our best players are not injured like last season so we can win something
