been involved with NHRA for over 20yrs, and ya know. im getting so that I prefer to watch Pro Mod more than anything. no million dollar crew cheifs, just hardcore cars that look like cars. keep it up

Back in ancient times I went to a local track to see a FUNNY CAR when they were first invented. These pro mod cars remind me a lot of them.

Pro Mod is my favorite class. They remind me of the Fuel Altered cars from the 60's and 70's the way they use all the track.

Seems like with top fuel, they're so touchy, you very rarely see a close race. One car usually spins the tires or breaks. These pro-mods go at it!

Nice to see Bob Raihim doin good in pro mod,, Used to see him up here all the time in the late 2000s early 2010s here in Michigan at Milan in our Heads up series RWYB and then in the Pro Nitrous series in ADRL/PDRL

love the sound of the super charged cars. They sound like pissed off P-51 mustangs at idle. turbo cars sound a bit like a 1920 biplane...

You still have to be pretty tough to be a NASCAR driver because the concentration at 200 MPH for 3 HOURS is something beyond comprehension. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE BOTH, and BOTH deserve respect when you are talking speeds at 325 mph. It’s insane to comprehend such a thing, but I believe both DESERVE and have EARNED RESPECT from us that do not do this week in and week out. Semper Fidelio, Captain T, U.S.M.C.

these cars amaze me I've been not going to drags much last 15 years they just keep getting faster i absolutely love the supercharged cars they are bad ass in my opinion scotty cannon is one of the best of all time in this class i still think he could shake up the feild if he showed up in one of those bad ass blown coups he drove back in the 90s he wen't to nitro funnies and then disappeared he was one of the best and still could be with his technology

What type of camera are you using man? Great job! Looks like a few of the big hitters came to town for this deal. PBIR is such a cool track.

I still think blower cars sound better than turb/nit cars. The turbos seem to be edging out more wins and quicker overall ET's these day though.

Amazing stuff!! These cars are faster than UK Top Fuel Dragster/Funny cars back in early 1980`s!!! Quarter Mile too!!! Love it. . .Would have been nice to see pit walkabout, look at engines n chat to drivers / crew etc Brill Vid 9/10....

Love these bodies I haven’t been able to go see any drags sense I saw Doug Kualeta do 326 at Sears Point raceway. Probably didn’t spell his name right sorry but the NHRA drags are the best

Excellent video and 1/4 mile racing it’s the best,but the track has to short of shutdown area to get stop before the net and sand trap.

I still love the pro stock class in NHRA. But if it ever gets replaced I wanna see these cars in that spot. People just wanna see brute horsepower running 1/4 mile is that to much to ask.

First time I went down that track was 1982 , Did a 16:73 in a 1980 Turbo Trans Am. YUCK! LOL

Confessions of a gearhead wannabe: I am not a big fan of drag racing (sorry). But Pro Mod ROCKS! After watching the Sprint Cup clones, It's really cool to see all of this variety. Ya just never know what's going to pull up to the line.

It would be neat to see a quarter mile race, where something electronically kills the engines at the 8th mile. It's always funny to see like a 10-second pass at 60 miles an hour.

4:04 how does the loud mouth on the pa not see that the car in the right lane's chute didn't deploy and he went full speed into the net? I get so tired of those guys in the booth. They think *they* have to keep the action going when the spectators are there to watch racing.
