All you need is one voter to file the lawsuit, then cut and paste to test all the 50 higher courts to see which state would follow Colorado Court and Colorado's Supreme Court. Very interesting approach and tests of democracy.

It would be wrong for the Supreme Court to reverse the Colorado lower courts decisions to disqualify Trump from the ballot because of "fairness" to Trump. That would be a mistake because it should not be about fairness to Trump, but rather be about only upholding the constitution. If that's the case, we should let a 14 year old who is not constitutionally qualified to run for office and let the voters decide. 🙄

Her analysis is spot on. It's about the treason, stupid! The issue was of such import that the US Constitution was amended to prohibit these traitors from ever disgracing office again. It never ceases to amaze me when people want to apply Constitutional authority against others while denying that the same document restricts them. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Its clear wording means what it states so succinctly.

A lot of “reality TV” people are addicted to this petulant foolishness. It’s more fun to hurl simple than engage in the work of critical thinking. Populism just requires chants, not thoughts, and people are swept up. I once read a Holocaust story in which a town organized against their Jewish neighbours and enacted an on the spot pogrom, running out their neighbours and then ransacking their homes as spoils of the attacks. This town had lived in peace for years until the day of hate. People just join in, and neighbours become murderers. Look at Rwanda. It could happen anywhere. Scary times for Americans. Leave if you can.

This is not a case for a decision of the voters because the constitution is clear: being part of a insurrection or rebellion. In Switzerland - as far as I know - they can by constitutional right vote for constitution changing or add to. This is not the case in the USA. Therefore a court must decide.
