loved the way this video was formatted. gave us the most useful features & tips in the first 1:25 which kept me hooked through the whole video. thank you! i already used the Cell Matrix and the MIDI Mapping for my Mikro MK3, and i can see myself using the TM and Articulations, maybe even Sidechaining! actually i take that back, i'll probably use every single thing u showed in this video haha

I feel like I've had Battery 4 for almost a decade (forgot when it came out) and I didn't know it had all these features. I'm ashamed of myself lol Thank you for creating this tutorial.

Have got great mileage from your 6-part, in-depth series on Battery + this one too. As you clearly love Battery, would LOVE to see you do a video getting creative with Battery, sharing your workflow - how you do cool things and create a short arrangement with it :) Great work, thanks for sharing your skills!

How may I get battery to re-index the library? I'm having to hit spotlight search to get all the samples in place. If I ad a sample and try to save it it reverts back to the original set up. What am i doing wrong? Thank you Great tut.

Around 1:27 you have the option to route cells to outs. Did NI seperate this option from the preset/kits yet? I like to make one mixer preset for my desired outs and then load presets in it, not overwriting them. I remember not buying back then because that was a real bummer to me. Hope they fixed that! rest of the updates are ace and thanks for effort on vid!

The two little buttons in the bottom left corner of every cell are mute and solo.

Dude I've used this for years and it's the best fucking plugin ever. I can literally make a tune just using this. The only wish I had for this would be a built in sequencer. I don't get if there's a reason ni doubt do this?!

I have created entire tracks using only vst drum machines, so, what I like most about Battery is that it has so many built-in effects, dynamic processing and modulation that it makes experimenting with sound design very easy; as all of these things are self-contained there's less clicking-around to experiment. But Impacts integration with S1 is what I love most about it. Having the names of samples automatically be populated in the drum editor of S1 is such a HUGE thing for me, as I tend to manually program my drums. And, editing the drum MIDI notes is very easy because of this automatic naming - I often switch out the samples I'm using to try to find just the right one. I think this is almost more important, to me, than all of the built-in effects that Battery has...
