I've been working on transcribing Kyle Landry's incredible arrangement pretty much since September and I really don't know how it's December now. I only did it in little bits and pieces, as I don't have much time for anything right now unfortunately and it was quite a challenge to figure out what exactly was going on in Kyle's performance. I stuck as close to his arrangement as I could, but am aware that some parts differ. That's either because I liked my own variation more or simply because I really couldn't figure out what he was doing (particularly the left hand arpeggios in the chorus). That being said, I'm pretty happy with how this version turned out. I didn't try to recreate Kyle's performance but gave it my own spin and applied different dynamics. Generally my version is a bit softer I would say.
Ni No Kuni is everything Final Fantasy stopped being after X. Plus, on top of that, it's co-created by Studio Ghibli and features original music by Joe Hisaishi. What could you possibly want more? It's my favourite JRPG of the last 10 years and next to The Last of Us my GOTY 2013.

So very few cutscenes animated by Ghibli but the whole music is by Joe Hisashi and the Tokyo Phillarmonic. Also, if you like Final Fantasy and Pokemon GO PLAY IT.

I absolutely love this! I haven't had time to play the game yet since school and work has been kicking my butt, but vacation is coming soon... you did great putting your own spin on it, and you keep all the emotion in the piece that its supposed to have. Wonderful playing :)

@@vadeknight Back in the days when I discovered Atin's video he linked the sheet in the video description. Cant find it now tho.. I think Atin wants to earn some money with his work now. Who could blame him.. You can finder other arrangements in his channel where he shares a link to sheets for 5 bucks. There you may find Ni No Kuni as well.

Mal wieder SUPER Klavier Cover :D Ich freu mich schon auf das was nächstes Mal kommt :DD Aber Mal ganz ehrlich...hast du Unterricht oder bringst du dir das alles selber bei? Mikelet Pep seit 2-3 jahren oder so, aber nich täglich sondern nur 1-2 mal die woche, ich würd gern mehr, aber hab mit dem ganzen abi nicht die zeit :/ aber sowas wie oben motiviert mich einfach, und ich werd mich jetzt die weihnachtsferien nochmal dranhängen ;] PS.: nicht 2/3 seiten sonder zwei drittel vom stück, also 4 seiten oder so sinds würd ich mich einfach mal 2-3 stunden ans klavier setzen würd ichs denk ich auch hinkriegen, aber naja, ich denke ich mach das ende der woche echt mal, mi u. do noch zwei LK-klausuren und dann erstmal frei :)

I've been playing for well over 3 years now and I struggle with the same issue of not handling it. It's more the fear of messing up, I find, because when you mess up you lose confidence. I'd say go for it. It will be a very rewarding achievement when you manage it.
