I love this interview. He’s not constantly asked about other celebrities, they actually talk about himself. I find it much more interesting when people *want* to tell something than when they are kind of forced to tell something.

I wish there were more interviews like this. The interviewer let him talk. The camera focused on him, often in close up so we got a good view of his amazing eyes.❤ And he was asked questions about HIMSELF and how he feels about things. Without being constantly interrupted. Plus, it was cute how fidgety he was. He's a doll. Quality Niall content. Thank you, Glamour!

I love that in another interview, how you were able to answer how you see yourself in ten years. You said you might have kids by then. I really wish people on the internet would listen to what he is saying here about hate comments. On Twitter, he's talked about how horrible, in particular, the abuse the females in this industry get and people were alluding to the fact he was defending his friends like Camila Cabello and Selena Gomez who get enormous amounts of abuse for no reason. Abusing someone is never justified, it does not matter how bored you are please check yourself. Have we not learnt from the Caroline Flack incident?

"Keep smiling...that's the way it should be" Absolutely LOVE it. It is true that out of all the former 1D's he was & is the more carefree one who enjoyed it a lot more and whose sparkle/twinkle in his eyes has not dimmed or died down like his other mates. I mean it is sad to see the earlier days of Harry, Zayn, Louis & even Liam and compare that grin to grin cheeky smile/smirk and giggle of the earlier days and to see it slowly die down under the guise of "maturity" or boyhood to manhood is rather sad because it is mainly success and the ownership the fandom felt they had over them to scrutinize EVERYTHING about them was no doubt suffocating and the real culprit for the by product of who they are today. More cautious, guarded & understandably jaded. Absolutely wonderful interview and a chance to actually get into the essence of HIM. I mean there was no question of who he is dating or of he likes them younger or older or if he is a womanizer or which celebrity he banged! All of which would have been an unfortunate subject matter that would have been brought up on some form or another had it been Harry Styles! Oy!

Liam teaches us to keep going by being himself. He was born almost dead. He was in the hospital most of the time till the age of 7. He didn't have a kidney till the age of 18 and had to get 32 vaccines every day as a pain reliever when he was very young. He was extremely bullied in childhood. He is trolled even now and gets hate for no reason. He was turned down 22 times. Yet, he manages to keep that bright smile on his face that lights up the world of millions and keeps me going... He has been through a lot and faces it all bravely... I want to be as strong as him...

it's 2 AM in the morning and i'm literally crying over this interview. He's just so pure and I can't imagine how difficult it was for him to go thru everything to be niall horan that the entire world know now. That must be very hard when started this career at 16 especially when many people doubted his amazing voice and got only a few part of lyrics for him to sing it. However, he's still managed to smile and be that a very cheerful member of 1d. His speech for 10-years-ago-niall at the end of the video was so beautiful ❤️😭

When I hear Niall talk, I always think "What a solid guy!" I don't think any of us should underestimate how good it is to have people in the public eye who are realistic and solid! Plus, his music has beautiful melodies, stories, a variety as well as creative and coherent instrumentation, arrangements, and production. I have great respect for Niall Horan.

Gosh, I couldn't help but relate to how he just shakes his body in nervousness, when he has to breathe in quickly because of how tense he feels, the pauses, the sutters, everything. I was never a directioner and only had a brief period of listening to their songs back in my middle school years, so I never really knew much about them besides Harry Styles' LGBTQ aesthetic nowadays. This is the first One Direction related video I've seen in 4 years and I can already relate to Niall so much within the first few minutes.

I don't think Liam is as vulnerable as Niall, Harry, & Louis are. I think Liam has to really sit & think about who he is as a person in order to get to the level of self-acceptance that those 3 are at right now. They've done some really great interviews so far about self-love & self-discovery and Liam hasn't done one of those yet. I would definitely want to see that from Liam too ofc.

@@ele9875 yes I agree, he is the most comforting man. I love listening to his music or listen to him talk. Also I know all the things Liam and Zayn said about 1d and it seems like it was really bad. So the fact that he could stay positive through all that amazes me. He is so strong and happy and positive, I try to follow his example

What Z and Li said was their experience and they were/are fairly upset, i am sure it hasn't been smooth ride for Niall as well that what amazes me ab him, though everything he manages to be that level of positive. So refreshing to see. Niall and Louis has always been inspirations for me in that sense

I love how the boys talk so fondly about their 1D experience and how humble they have stayed. most that have this much fame let it go to their heads but they have always been so grateful

I'm so proud of him he's one of the most real celebrities I know and the fact that he's so down to earth. Also I remember fangirling him so much in the 1d era and still am but now i've learned to understand his accent, which is so lovely by the way.
