Geez, what a horrible story & life!!!! Not all step moms are bad especially if the kids are older & dont need much help versus smaller & littler ones. I know I wasn't mean. I should have been though! LOL. JK. Life should be a little easier, I guess not in this story either. Do I believe her? Yes. I have been through it. My EX husband kids were freakin naughty as heck. Nobody can NOT tell them what to do. The grandparents do NOT want you to discipline them either. They'll always intrude & say the opposite of you & "protect," the kids from you (when you're just teaching them- like doing dishes or laundry cause they are old enough). And my EX husband always says the same thing like this husband, "they're just kids." OR "You just dont like or love my kids." OR " You always think MINE are bad, but not yours." But it was true- my 2 don't talk much, they mind their own business, you ask them to do something, they do it- you teach them something, they will learn it, they have manners, they don't talk back, & majority of the time, they are in their room anyways. BUT his 2 kids, OMFG!!!! They break things & pour stuff anywhere & everywhere, like playdoh & ask the son (cause he did it) to clean up cause by this time, he was already 11 so he knows better, its not like he was 2- and my ex husband yelled at me for asking his son to help clean up. We argued too. They dont eat when they're suppose or when I asked them- like I cook dinner & we're all going to eat, & I ask them to come too, they dont, so then later grandma is cooking for them at like 11pm & they go eat in her room!!!!! She comes back out with the dishes & washes them. His kids talk back. They have no manners at all. You're eating or people are over & they're/ we're eating, we get food for the kids, including them- but they would come up & just put their hands in the bowl of foods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And start grabbing food!!!!!!!! WITH THEIR HANDS!!!!!! They would never wake up in time for school. Would always make me & my kids late. The grandparents, my ex in laws always expected us to wait. One day, just one time, my kids & I just left & I went to work. My mother in law called me, I didn't pick up. It felt good being on time but then she told my husband & he bitched at me why I didn't wait for his kids & left, I said I told you to talk to them to wake up when its time to wake up & not stay up until 11pm or midnight!!!! And they're always sleeping with your parents, & I can't go in there- mom is always in there & she says she already woke them up. He'll be like whatever man!!! My husband would never say anything to them, his parents or his kids- ALWAYS ME. I should be more patient. I have such a small heart! He has no problems with my kids & Im like its because my kids are naughty like yours!!!!! And IF i would ask him to TEACH, not yell, HIS KIDS, he would stare at me with a death stare & walk away or yell at me & say "why do you always have something to say about my kids, if you want to leave, leave." SO guess what I did after all this BS of 5 years, I left! its now been a good 4 years, going on 5 years SINCE i have left. When I met them, the son was 5, the daughter was 3!!! They are teenagers now, & their mom has def brainwashed them too. BUT guess what, they're spoiled brats, their own cousins don't want to be around them, they don't know how to do their own laundry, they dont even have common sense to hang their shirts or know how to even fold towels, they don't know how to make rice in simple Tiger rice cooker, they don't even know how to make ramen noodles or eggs!!!!!!! They dont even know what it means when you say "go make your beds, people are coming over." The in laws would hear it & do it for them. The IN LAWS do it for them all the time. Anything & everything!!!!! The kids are clueless. In life & at school. I didnt say they were dumb cause they are not, but they are clueless and have no common sense. But good for them- the ex in laws & my ex husband. They can go find someone else who can put up with this crap- probably easier now cause the kids are teenagers and not small kids like how I met them- that was a horrible, traumatizing period in my life & that is not a marriage!
