Niantic AR at Immersive Tech Week 2023

Immersive Tech Week 2023 reminded us what a year it was for Niantic AR. Together, we improved our existing tools that enable planet-scale AR including Lightships Maps, VPS, and Shared AR.
We also want to celebrate our newer releases from Lightship ARDK 3.1 to many new 8th Wall WebAR features like Sky Effects and Human AR and more!
Shout out to the developer community - thank you for making 2023 an unforgettable year for us! See you next year. 🎊

Buen dia mi estimado Niantic por un lado tiene lados positivos y negativos. Niantic mesita actuar con Pokémon go, el juego está por estos momentos pasando por menos jugadores lo cual hace que salgan los flys o los jugadores "tramposos". !Niantic, NO ES TRAMPA! simplemente no podemos salir a la calle con la seguridad de que no te robaran, asaltaran o no te quiten la vida por un celular. Por otro lado algunos lugares no tiene pokeparadas o gimnasios para jugar. Mi idea es que agregues una especie de joystick para poderte mover en el mundo. Soy consciente de que el teletransportarse o los radares de pokemones variocolor es ilegal. Pero por favor no perjudica en nada al juego o a su compañía, el agregar una forma de moverte desde tu hogar. Se que su misión es recolectar información del mundo exterior para sus inteligencias artificiales, pero también, sería una buena idea hacer una versión aparte del juego original de Pokémon go pero sin salir de casa. Se lo dejo a su decisión, mi estimado Niantic. Que tenga un buen día,tarde o noche

I have been playing Pokemon Go from 7/16/2016. In the past month, I couldn't get in 5 seconds into the game before it crashed. I tried to clean out the cashe and uninstall/reinstall the game a few times. No good. I hope the next update fixes Pokemon Go.. I guess the Pokemon Go trainers that posted KZfaq videos don't have problems like us.. Y'all need to fix the bugs in this game.. No ones listening

Niantic needs to make a digimon go game badly in my opinion. It be so much fun and I kinda know how it can work - it can play like pokemon go but when I battle it turns into a auto battle game like digimon championship on D's that be really fun

Just some ideas for a new app game yall should make. 1. digimon go - raids can become champion level digimon. 2. A zoo tycoon ar game 3. Fishing/ breeding game 4. Pokemon snap

Blessings to all! As a player of course I love the franchise and the games POGO is not the exception. My humble request not just for me but for everyone like in the games only a one time get an in game vitamin to say the least that could get all ivs perfect for any pokemon. It will be a perfect chance for returning players since their favorite pokemon or of their choice could be perfect. Again only a one time thing that would be amazing. If you read this please like this so it can get the attention of someone in Niantic, best regards and thank you for everything that has been placed in the game.

Niantic please sell Pokemon go to a better company .. i love everything related to Pokemon...but under you guys ..need to invest some money to get the best experience in Pokemon go..lots of it. Even if i spent my money its totaly did not guarantee im going to get what im paid for... Please niantic let it go to someone else please...

This comment section proves that Pokemon nerds are the most toxic player-base in the entire gaming industry. Lol NOOO the game will not revolve around your personal preferences, get over it. If you don't like it, put the game down and find a different hobby. You're not the aimed consumer.

I agree there are people like that. Niantic ruined the character designs to fit modern “woke” standards. I’m glad I never got into GO, but what they did to the player base is so wrong. 😂
