I'm curious, are there no tourist attractions worth visiting in Honduras? Kim's fried bananas look better, sorry Naick! Congratulations on successfully entering Nicaragua! There are many nice things to see in Honduras too! But since we cannot use the fuel in Honduras or in Nicaragua because it would be really bad for our van, we could not make major detours. If we were to carry even more fuel in water jugs in our shower, we would look even more suspicious to border patrol for sure ;)

So clever to have sent the drone on to Costa Rica and not decide to trick the border guards, which I probably would have done (and then got caught). That was an amazingly beautiful border crossing between El Salvador and Honduras.

I like how respectful you are of countries' rules; many people would have been so cocky that they would try to sneak the drone into Nicaragua. (I don't travel with those people!) I'm always so happy when I see a new post from you, thank you for livening up my humdrum life! @@NaickKimoye pero no es prohibido meter drones acá solo tienes que probar que lo usarás para fines recreativos como tus vídeos, y yo prefiero que el control sea así de seguro si no tuviéramos maras. Y delincuencia excesiva como en otros paises, acá por eso es bastante seguro.

Oh man, that brings back memories! I did El Salvador to Nicaragua by bus back in New Years Eve 2021. Add a layer of Covid complexity. The Hounduras border was a nightmare because it was Dec 31st so it took almost 4 hours. We also got to Nicaragua in the evening and it was exactly like you experienced it. Thank god I filled out that 7 day form in advance but they were still very strict and a lady tried to keep change from me for apayment. Igot irritated about it and then she relented, came out to the bus and gave me my change. Once I got in to the country I had a great time but that day was something else.

Love this video! Such a great edit, all the graphics, the story telling, I'll bet this took a long time to edit! Super impressive!!! And on the journey.... we felt the exact same entering Nicaragua!!! It took us 8 hours to get into the country becuase of our dog 😮 so so so exhausting!!! I'm amazed how in good spirits you were at the end of the day. Seasoned pros for sure!!!!

We are trying to drive from Alaska to Argentina. So we will do all the border crossings that we can, even the tough ones 😉

It wouldnt have mattered that much if you had filled in the form beforehand, we did and it took us about 3 hours to cross that same border. They checked all our luggage too and had to empty out the car completely. On the way back (we crossed back into Honduras) it took 4,5 hours and it was absolutely terrible - the aduana even gave us a 5 days stamp to leave the CA4 without us knowing it - this border is 100% stress. Glad you made it !!

That is how many other Latin American countries used to be like in the past. Sad that Nicaragua is still like that. It seems to be a beautiful place as far as I have read and seen pictures of.

Para ingresar a USA es peor, ahí te interrogan un montón, además de que te ven como delincuente y es una pesadilla, entonces todo país tiene requisitos para que ingresen a sus naciones, eso es obvio, las autoridades de los países no pueden saber que clase de personas sos sin interrogante, sin revisar lo que llevas, no saben tus intenciones. Lo lógico es seguir las reglas que pone cada país, así que no hay que exagerar, porque un latino para ingresar a USA o Canadá de manera legal, es una odisea, asi que los países latinos también pueden poner sus reglas estrictas para que ingresen a sus países. Lo bueno es que lograron ingresar y ahora estan bien en Nicaragua. Saludos.

Oh man..what a nightmare travel day! Glad you guys made in through safely. 🎉 Would have 💩 our pants at that border for sure. Border security are the type of people that make you feel convinced that you've done something wrong, even when you haven't. They always have me questioning myself..like, "maybe I DO have a kilo of cocaine hidden in my bum, and I just forgot? 😰!"... 😂😂

Because of the fuel situation that we mentioned in the video :) the diesel in Honduras and Nicaragua is too poor quality for modern vehicles and would WRECK our van, so we had to take fuel from El Salvador and store it in the shower to (hopefully) have enough to get until Costa Rica... But we can't take unlimited amounts either, so we had to be efficient in our route down. Imagine the look on border patrol's police if the van was stacked with diesel :D

5 uur als er niemand voor je staat, stel je voor dat er dan nog maar 2 mensen voor je staan... een file van pakweg 20 man dat is genoeg om gewoon te kunnen terugkeren omdat je vakantietijd er al op zit... Blij voor jullie dat het dan toch gelukt is! Vragen ze dan of je cash bij hebt om te zien of je hen eventueel zou willen omkopen hoor de welbegeerde stempels?

Ik denk dat het deels is zoals in bv de US, waar ze ook vragen dat je bij de douane aangeeft als je meer dan 'x' duizend euro cash bij je hebt. Maar wij dachten inderdaad ook even dat het de smeergeld-kant op ging. Uiteindelijk... is er toch alleszins niets gevraagd/zelfs niet meer gehint. Misschien hadden we wat 'welkom'-briefjes in de camionette moeten leggen toen ze gingen inspecteren 😂🚐🤪

Hi, happy to hear that you crosses into Nicaragua. Probably you already know but you will bring tourists to all this region in the future. Also you are discovering a way for future generations to travel in all America.
