This is a complete, detailed walkthrough for Muppettale Elmo, aka Nice Encounter. It is one of two boss fights in Test Place. This is a dreadfully annoying fight that revolves around complicated, somewhat rng based attacks and slowly waiting to heal at every turn.
Completing these bosses gives you a badge, and each badge will be used to unlock a special character in Lads new game, FIGHT! Completing this boss will unlock Muppettale Elmo and Muppettale Kermit. These are both weaker, low level characters compared to the other badge characters. It's pretty annoying considering how hard they are to get.

the good thing about the fight is that it gives you several spots to heal the bad thing (phase 2) is that you really need to go godmode where you have to circle around the pencils the worst thing (phase 2) is that the final attack could end everything you went through from the beginning of the phase

12:23 when I try healing at this part the blaster literally starts doing 30 damage instead of 25 damage so an alternative way to heal at this part is to jump over the triple pencils and if some people die at this part they literally have to do the fight all over again because of this *bug*

Here’s a tip for phase 2 pencil maze. The closer you get to the spinner the slower it is and the farther faster.

sorry if we asked a lot, its just that nice encounter is harder than hyper dust because hyper dust is a fair fight while this fight is rng. (mostly on the last phase)

Can you belive that after all the complains about elmo being harder than insanity elmo lad decidded to come back and do a last thing to elmo. Buff him. Now most of the skips dont work because what used to tank only 14 hp now it tanks more than 70. I feel like lad just wants nobody to get elmo.

I give up on him I've been trying to beat him over 4 months I'm tired I may try to go through it sometimes I had a bug today where it had no color such as green or red on some part lots of the moving pencils stop and I kept getting killed on the last attack on the 3rd phase so I'm done

It's a REALLY slow heal, but I didn't use it much for the heal. What's important is that it gives you a chance to catch your breath and actually plan it out before just rushing in and dying almost immediately. The triple spinner does triple dmg since there are three pencils, so it should be your MAIN focus.

@@goldendude6973 side pencils distracts and you cant actually see anything for 1-2 secs and plus that falling pencil. Triple takes 50 hps around, falling 13 and the side around 20 So yea thanks for walkthrough, i gonna try today

side blasters actually do 25 dmg, but you heal 33 health between them. It's a painfully slow way to heal, but it will heal 8 hp every time they fire... Gl, and yea the side ones aren't so dangerous, it's just the damn spinner that's bad.

@@ultrascape_ It's the hardest part in the fight. The small pencil actually hit me a few times. If you take more then 10 dmg from it just go back and heal again. You wanna try to jump over it when it's diagonal bottom left to top right, then jump again cuz it's spinning. For the twitchy one you gotta memorize which twitch to go at and where, I wrote it all down in the walkthrough. The big impaling pencil doesn't do huge dmg, if you have to choose I'd recommend tanking that instead of the spinner.

Phase 2 is complete bullshit the final attack is so fucked up in difficulty if I can get to phase 3 I’m sure it will be way easier plus the music gives me energy
