NiceHCK DB3 Review - The Best Under $20?

I bought this one a while back to work on my under $30 collection along with the KZ ZSN Pro, Sony MH755, KBEar KB06, and the DT6 which has not arrived yet. Even with an upgraded cable, the DB3 will stay under $30. The KZ ZSN Pro is more of a generalist, typical warm KZ sound signature with a smaller soundstage and pre-ZSX "steely" treble. The DB3 is different, cooler tones, restrained bass which comes out to play when necessary, better soundstage, and generally better timbre across the range. I don't think there is a winner or loser, just match according to your preferences. It will be cheap on 11-11 so do your research, I bought mine direct from NiceHCK:

Yep, the bass is a strange one. I know a large audience doesn't want a boosted bass, but seems it went a bit too tight for my taste. Thanks for saying the NX7 is similar.

Ty for review. So which iem can you offer for me in this price range which is with great bass subbass and mid. i dont like treble sparkle so little bit treble enough for me

Kz zsr has plenty of bass and an 8khz dip. Triple driver set. Slightly more expensive than these though. Also revonext qt2 but those have a 10khz peak that needs taming. My goto bass head iem is the trn v60. But the bass is quite slow and bleeds into the mids. They are about £20

Especially with the recent releases, I almost always prefer the recent ones to older sets. The Lark might be in the ballpark of DB3 if you are looking for a light bass set.

For under 20doll. range they're ok - JUST ok, no miracles. I know one model for the same price tag which always makes me smile every time I use them. They are real fun opposite to pale DB3...

Can't say that and not spill the beans. After the DB3, I went with the DT6 which makes me happy. The VJJB N30 is also similar, not as happy for me but I like it.

@@PaulWasabii The model I ment, Paul, is OnePlus Bullets V2. On Aliexpress. "Metall barrels" - I have a soft spot for this form factor, I've got a lot of them. ...Jeez, they are tiny, but they are HUGE... Real hidden gem. Give it a shot, Paul, - IT'S A PURE JOY...

Just a Few Words with Paulwasabii Hi Paul, What do you think of DT6 Pro version ? Is it real upgrade? An extra ba logically should improve that mids weakness...

@@sergiymarchenko1002 It came in the mail today. Give me a couple days and I will try to leave you a reply here. In theory, there should be an improvement but I am also hoping it wasn't ruined. The VJJB N30 is in the same ballpark, a little less bass, but more natural, horrendous cable. I have a soft spot for the DT6 because of what it can do for EDM music at a crazy low price.

I am not in a band but ran across an actual band using KZ here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z9GSoc2h1LDGkas.html I would hate to offer you an opinion that makes no sense in a live band situation versus an actual band who all uses KZ I believe. To be honest, they aren't the first musician I have run across using KZ and I think it is the balance of sound quality, durability, and cost to replace. Sorry I couldn't directly answer that one.
