GIFT CARD SCAM.
I posted about this on my other social media accounts and thankfully it has been shared many times from amazing people like you!
Share with your friends and family so they’re aware. Thankfully also the cashier at the cash was very aware and did her part in ensuring the one I bought wasn’t a fake. That being said, some cashiers won’t so you need to be aware. If not, a fake card will get loaded that belongs to the scammer and the one you think you’re loading will actually be empty.

I use to work at Rite Aid and this happen to a female she was crying over the phone saying someone just stole $500 from her from a gift card scam she was telling me that she was gonna use the money to buy food and clothes for her children so I had to call cooperate but they didn't do much for the situation

But for me the best gift cards out there is gold razor cards top notch never had an issue with them

This is not the only scam. Others will clone the card, get the pin and reapply the acrylic scratch off paint and put the compromised cards back on the shelf. As soon as you activate the card, the money is spent

@babbittfamily that just happened to me. CVS will not refund me the $100 and when I called Apple, they told me to report it to the Federal Trade Commission and try to recover my money from them. Of course the Federal Trade Commission isn't going to refund me anything. Apple said they are considering stopping the Apple Gift Card because this has become a huge problem across the country.

Why don't retailers !rock up cards?
