The key to Nichijou's brilliance is it's emotion. It takes average everyday things. Things that, were they to just happen, would only take about thirty, fourty seconds to pass and they take the raw emotions that we would feel, the perception of time and space, the heart and soul of human interaction...and they show us THAT in place of what would actually happen...and that is why it is brilliant.

Another key of brilliance in Nichijou is it's faithful continuity. You can actually see Mio sporting some bandages on her right ankle in some shots, especially when she's rolling around the floor the first time. Why? Because this scene takes place the day after Mio (and Yukko) got bit by Mai's dogs 😁

His point is the most difficult part of Japanese. 熱い→use everything that means hot except temperature. 暑い→use only air temperature is high. 厚い→thick. All three are called "Atsui." 熱い and 暑い are not properly used in English.

Braxium "dai" doesn't make a verb out of anything, it means "big". "Joubu" means something like "healthy". Daijoubu is an adjective. Also, it's not "wakatta nai", but "wakaranai" or "wakattenai" or "wakannai" (the latter being used in informal speech). If you want to nitpick, at least do it correctly ;)

This shows Yoshino is a *far* worse troll than Mai. Mai's antics are only about pushing the limits of the situation to put off those around her. This shows that Yoshino can actually plan ahead with her pranks, accurately predicting what Mio would do and laying traps every single step. First Yoshino locks Mio into a loop between jam and russian tea, both being absolutely disgusting to the taste. Next, predicting Mio would break the loop to go get water, Yoshino shuts down the water supply to the sink. Finally, seeing that Mio would go for milk, the first accessible substitute to water, she puts all the leftover jam into the milk carton. Trap after trap after trap. This kind of planning is used only by those with utterly *murderous* intent.

Many people leave water for days in electric tea-kettle, and personally when there is unexpected water outage I all ways firstly use water from electric tea-kettle. PS. you can all ways find water in toilet tank if there is emergency
