This song brings me back so many memories. Back when i was with my girlfriend during 9 years. She loved the Silent Hill videogames (she looked like Eileen so that played a part in why she liked it) and we used to discuss about the meanings and everything. She passed away 5 years ago. R.I.P my Dearest Lorelei.

Akira Yamaoka is a legend in game music. But he was also lucky in his private life. He is married (2 children) to one of the top Japanese female heavy metal drummers : Tamu Murata from the heavy metal band Nemophila. Check it out you turnips.😊

Yamaoka has ceased partaking in Silent Hill games in Downpour. He does have a band. He also works freelance for other projects unrelated to Konami. Makes you think, right? So many amazingly talented people employed eith Konami who end up having to do freelance work.

(Not that anybody cares or anything,but) I went back to playing this game and I finally found out where this song came from.If any of you are wondering,this song is played as Henry and Eileen meet Joseph Schreiber in person at the apartment.It's a bit faded, but if you listen closely you can hear Elizabeth's beautiful voice singing this Amazing song in the background

I thought it could of meant cocaine or heroine addiction and the room is the place to do such drugs. Then the room confines you with depression and anxiety or possibly mental illness.

I think that the "tender sugar" likely refers to the White Claudia, and the song is about Joseph Schreiber, the journalist that used to live in the apartment before Henry.

The only problem with the SH4 soundtrack is that most of the songs didn't appear in the game at all, and almost all the time the game is without music. Your Rain and Waiting for you for example are not used at all and only appear in the ost cd.

+Mạnh Nguyễn Hồng the atmosphere they generate in part 4 with the combination of the very sad and sick story with the soundtrack and the claustrophobic feeling of the "the room" and the nightmareish graphics in walters memory you run through is uncomparable imo. thats why silent hill 4 was always my favourite part (after inner fears). it was also the last silent hill game. work of some geniuses

When Silent Hill 4 came out it was heavily criticized for recycling areas and not straying away so far from the formula, these days, there is simply nothing being made that could either match or top the atmosphere. Let alone the soundtrack ¿Crazy isn't it?

That's so stupid. Like the team made this game literally a year after SH3. I blame the studio for pressuring the team to make it within a short period of time. Even with the time constraint, this was an excellent game and completely different from the formula of the previous games.

It is possible to save her. Just prevent monsters from attacking her as often as you can as this reduces her movement speed during the endgame with Walter; you'll have more time to safely defeat him without putting too much risk on Eileen's life.

In these games the music adds to an event that just happened. Like In Silent Hill 2 when Maria died in the hospital the music played to add to the sad moment.
