One of the memories I have of Sir Nick, was he was broadcasting the Masters and someone yelled get in the hole after a tee shot. Nick's response was please God, no, not at the Masters. Classic Sir Nick Faldo having so much respect for the game. Praying for your continued success away from the broadcast booth.

But I seen Norman 1st and was shocked how I was fixated by him. His swing, his hair, etc. Me and my old friend played for years, I was Faldo and He (spike) was Norman. Lol.

I saw Nick play many years ago, before his broadcasting career. He was a driven man, not always quick with a smile or comment to fans, which caused a very, very unfair narrative that he's an arrogant, unfriendly man. I knew even then how wrong that caricature was, and it was great to watch him recast himself as a commentator and gain the respect and love of so many golf fans around the world. Nick Faldo is a class act in every way, any of us would do well to aspire to his example. One of my favorites, and one of the best to ever play the game.
