38 years in the military. Worked and trained in some confined spaces and it never bothered me. Wore a gas mask for an hour or more with no problems. Go head first into an MRI machine and i totally freaked out. Nick, I'm right there with you not liking confined spaces

Strange but true, on my first experience of an MRI scanner I kept falling asleep and the young Aussie doing the scan had to keep asking “Tony, are you still in there.”

My next trip to the UK will be Cornwall. I've always thought it looked so pretty there with the sea and the pocket beaches and the coastal villages. Ahhh. Thanks for taking me there digitally. btw I love crab meat and those nachos looked great.

I live in Penzance, so nice watching you guys enjoy Cornwall. Next time your down you should visit Botallack and botallack mine, just up from Cape Cornwall, its where alot of Poldark was filmed. If you love Downton, your going to love Poldark.

Omg Leigh I don’t know how you managed your way through that mine! No way in hell could I do that even if someone was to offer me a million pound to do it, don’t blame Nick at all for not wanting to do it as suffering from claustrophobia is horrid. Another great vlog guys xx

I think Leigh definitely thrives a little more in the nomad/van life way of living. Nick just seems a bit stressed all the time 😂😂 hopefully you can both chill and enjoy a bit more soon.

according to their website, it is a steering lock emulator, and a google search says it eliminates the steering lock, usually used for electric steering lock problems

Have loved your travels so far 😊 I live in Cornwall and haven’t been to the mines! Mousehole is lovely, Penzance can be a bit dodgy in places!!!! You have to head down to the Lizard next time you’re in Cornwall, there’s loads of history and filming that’s happened down here (and I’ll buy you some Rodda’s! 😂) xx

Did you make to Salop that’s the name us locals call Shrewsbury the place of my birth A beautiful town with lots of history, if you went along the A49 out of Shrewsbury you would go past the Sentinel works, other wise known as Rolls Royce, I started my apprenticeship on the 13th of September 1976. Happy memories. Moved away from there in 2005 only been back to see my mum when she was alive but the place has changed so. I worked at the royal Shrewsbury hospital for 21 years and all around there has been masses of house built

That thing you took out is an emulator that stops the steering lock motor kicking in usually used if the.steering lock is faulty

Omg this brought back so many memories for me ❤ the vhs tapes and breaking the bit off to keep what u taped, i recorded nik kershaws concert and purposely broke of the plastic bits and wrote all over it do not tape over to which my dad (no longer with us) put tape over them and recorded a mike tyson boxing match 😮 i cried for days and didnt speak to him for week's 😂 xx

We were away in our caravan at the weekend ,pefect place for you guys togo to .its called culzean castle caravan and camping club in south Ayrshire you have great walks to the castle and country park. We had a sea view beautiful sunsets Nick and we saw the northern lights both nights it was beautiful. Beautiful I would highly recommend if you are coming up to Scotland ❤

OMG the max pax machine, my Mum worked at the factory that made MaxPax , she was on the line responsible for filling the little cups with the dry powder ( G.F. In Banbury , the make Maxwell House coffee ) . They made Angel Delight too , sadly it’s very close to closing now , the last big industry in Banbury.

You’d probably like Devon too (although maybe you did go there too). I can recommend Dorset, more of Somerset and the new forest too, the UK has so many beautiful places. Glad you’ve visited Somerset, Glastonbury is definitely somewhere worth a visit

I can understand your nerves at whether Taylor would start, or not. I had similar worries today when we came home from our home in Florida and went to see if my Z4 would start after 7 weeks. Thankfully The saint fired up first push of the button.

I used to suffer from claustrophobia when I was a child and didn’t like the dark but I have overcome it in the last few years by going into caves in various parts of the Uk. Have you ever been to Speedwell Cavern in Castleton a flooded lead mine where you travel through the tunnels to the main cave by boat. I really enjoyed Wookey hole in Somerset and King Arthur’s Labyrinth in Corris North Wales. I would be more concerned about slipping up and getting lost. My ancestors on my Mum’s side come from around Glastonbury in Somerset with great names like Ston Easton and Kingston st Mary 😀

In Poldark, they were in a mine, and it does burst. All of poldark was filmed in Cornwall. I just finished Baby Reindeer, and you have to watch. It is incredible. I cried.

More fascinating places you are showing us, or at least fascinating to this American. I don’t think I could’ve made it through that mine, not because I’m claustrophobic, but because I’m not sure I could take being that much bent over for that long to get through it.

That device is a steering lock emulator, the van must have had issues with the steering lock previously; van not starting, lock not disengaging etc. Good work with the relays too!

I went Cornwall last may for 7 days …only lasted 5 then went home …..weather was nice but it wasn’t for me to busy …did Arthur cave lands end …few beaches

if you manage to visit Shrewsbury, I think you will like it the award-winning market, nice food and the longest street of independent shops in the UK so I'm told. and it's close to Wales,

Why don't you use the bed extension piece as the seat cushion. don't have to store it away in shower then and you'd not have bed extended and the be using the long sofa at same time anyways

Im surprise you didnt do the coal mine in beamish, as they do tours in there, ehere the pit ponies use to go down but it nick is claustrophobic then its smaller again as you have to bend to go in, you cant stand up at all 🙈🙈🙈🙈
