I don't even think thats all to it. I think Nick is very talented in his word choice, but in rapping, you show your talent through your lyrics. through singing, candace is showing her vocal agility and range and how she may change the song to be her own. even if the lyrics aren't her own, her talent is through her voice.

Just so we clear, every rapper that comes on that show write their raps. So, that's not a qualifier..its the requirement, if they wanna pick EVERY RAPPER, that comes on the show then they would be no show.

@Rainy Days I like how Nick simply put the whole show on blast. Exposing them for the scheme artist they are. As you see, the show never renewed for a Season 3. Bottom line. Candice was a better vocalist, but Nick simply was original and had bars all through his performance. Even the other contestants in the chair felt it 🤣

@Rainy Days In this challenge, he was better in my opinion. Simply because of Khaled reaction to reality stars. Also, "They don't care about talent; they want them likes and them views." Vincent felt that one as well. It was clever and it was original. He literally stepped on stage with no fcks given and called all that shit out with bars and a hook THAT HE WROTE! 🤣 Regardless on why the show didn't renew. Nick summarized the whole show in this one performance, which no other artist did that. That is more of a feat than good vocals to a song already written and performed by someone else. Candiace can sing... Trust me, she can. Nick probably wouldn't have won the whole competition, but this challenge... He just presented a lot more originality than Candiace vocals alone.

No people that recognize an original talent and not a standard talent. Nick made his own lyrics, killed the flow, and felt orginal. Candice sang as good as everyone else that participates in AGT,The Voice, X-Factor and literally every other show in this category. that's the difference.
