Watching this in bits, here and there, and I'm fascinated with the recording process. It reminds me of painting/drawing.. and knowing when to keep working on something and when to stop. Over-working something can sometimes suck the life out of art and music. I love seeing the spots where you allow for imperfections.. it's very freeing to see a professional go through that process and allow themselves space to "mess up", try again, and also just let something breathe and not always be absolutely perfect. I feel one of the struggles so many of us have to overcome is that drive for perfection. I mean, it's good to aim for that, but actually, knowing where to allow imperfections to remain makes music and art just so much better.. more relatable even if only on a subconscious level. Also, after playing around with my guitar for a couple of months now, I decided it's time to start proper guitar lessons. I start next Monday and I'm so excited! I don't love Covid, but am thankful for the time at home which has given me the opportunity to watch and learn from you.. it's been a huge blessing. I'll post some videos of my progress once-in-awhile if you ever want to check them out. Aaand.. I started a health and fitness coaching training program this week. Your exercise videos have kicked me into gear.. have lost some weight and muscle definition is starting to show nicely! Thank you!! 🤘🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽💞
