I called in KROQ, won tickets to see RHCP and 311 for new years into 2000! I was 17. My mom wouldn't let me go because of Y2K! I'm 41 dude and I'm still pissed about it. Breaks my heart

When I was a freshman in high school I interviewed Poor Man for the school newspaper. He invited me to visit the show with Dr Drew, but when my dad found out the content he said no way! I feel your pain but yours is probably worse because you were 17!

I called the first encore at 3/11/2000 at State Palace and humbly request a 311/Jinjer tour leg! They are the 311-est metal band in the world. They have reggae and pretty instrumental sections which, with careful set lists, could yield some of the highest energy shows/parties in either band's history. Think of the Unity!
