Not many bands have hundreds of songs, all bangers, and not many bands have spent 35 years together, uninterrupted, performing for the world. 311 is a rare breed, and that’s probably why us fans are so damn loyal.

@@Sceneyour You can see his wrinkles clearly. I don’t think he’s wearing any makeup (my wife is a makeup artist, so I’m familiar with how well it works). He’s just naturally handsome and must have really great genetics for aging. I’m willing to bet he avoided the sun for most of his life, because that is the thing that ages you worse than anything

All these dudes are 54ish. P-Nut is the youngest at 50. Youngest looking old guys in the biz; they gotta be doing something right

Okay, I’m sorry but I’m turning into my 15 year old self now, Nick is so hot!!! Almost 30 years later and I still think he’s smokin’ hot! He actually inspired my blue eyed daughter’s name, that’s how much I love him! When I found out I was pregnant, I had a baby name book, and I went through all of the names looking for ones that were unique and uncommon. I had a boy name and a girl name picked out all the way from when I first got pregnant with my first daughter. It didn’t know the gender until the birth, so I kept having to come up with new girl names.. So her name is Madi Nicole. Because Nick was born in Madison, WI and Nicole for him specifically!

I think most artists "get that itch" to create. Look at authors, movie directors, etc. They finish one project and before long, they have to start the process again. It's part of their art. It's part of who they are.

The vast majority of their new music is cowritten/written by other people anyway. I still like it

I loved 311 until you instigated the harassment of Jake Gardner online after he defended his father who was a chemo patient & his business.. lifes work & homage to You. I'm ashamed that his death was irrelevant to you. Especially the guy Jake fought was a woman-beater & had a wrap sheet. Yay... Unity and hypocrisy.
