In my opinion Nick has been really consistent with his new sound. What people may not understand is that this may have been the route he wanted to go while in the group with his brothers, so I don't know why people are so surprised he uses profanity now. He is a grown man and he finally has full control over his music and his adult life. Which is the same thing that happened with Justin Timberlake, the world gave Justin a chance when he switched to the more soulful R&B side and pulled it off well, I really think nick can pull it off also. There is room for everybody to grow regardless of what people think he should do.

Really? I like how people assume that because a young artist starts swearing in his music that he's trying to be "mature". It's bullshit. bazzingaification See this is the issue that Nick Jonas & some others have faced. When they were clean cut, people gave them shit. Now that they are a little more like the average joe(not even doing anything warranting criticism), they still get shit. Dude can't win. None of the swear words he's used seems out of place. Also, his adult image is due to him being a damn adult & wanting to tackle adult material. He is trying to prove himself as an artist, not try & impress anyone with juvenile antics. It is evident from his personal behaviour that he isn't about that life.

Am I the only one who actually kinda likes this version a bit better because its from both the boy and girls views? Because even with the cursing, if your jealous, you would say so much more than that! XD Sorry Im possessive and easily jealous (normally over petty things) and my boyfriends the same, but we have a very happy medium and get along really well because it shows that we desire each other and dont want to lose each other. You're right. The original is actually the explicit version, that's the way he originally wrote it. I know this as some fans had access to the song early. It's also stated in a Hollywood Reporter article from July that it 'features more than a few f-bombs' www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/photo-nick-jonas-truly-going-721154 … he decided not to release this version & released the clean version instead so it was radio friendly :)

You say that EVERYONE writes the explicit version as the original version because that's how they "originally feel" well no one "originally feels" the same so please for the second type stop stereotyping everyone to be the same because all individuals are different. Kiran Basra you do know this is the third version of Jealous right? There's the clean, the dirty and the remix. He cusses in the dirty version and the remix. The clean one isn't original, clean versions are never original. I'm not stereotyping, I'm stating facts. And how would you know the clean version is the original? Because it came out first? That doesn't mean anything because clean versions come out first so the radio can play it, then the explicit one comes out. It's how the music making/releasing process is. Why would he do a remix of the dirty version, but not use the clean version? Because remixes always remix the original, therefore the explicit version is the original.

Ugh. All of these comments of people saying Nick should've gotten someone more "relevant" or "talented" for this remix. Please. Tinashe is one of the most talented women in music right now. Her single "2 On" has become one of the biggest urban singles of the year, selling over 600,000 copies in the US alone. Keep in mind that this is her FIRST official single on a major label. She also got discovered by writing, producing and recording her own music on independent mixtapes and shocked the urban crowd with her amazing rendition of the American national anthem and developed a far above mediocre performance of 2 On on Jimmy Kimmel that I recommend checking out. I've managed to fall in love with her within the past year and, once "All Hands On Deck" becomes a single, I'm sure mainstream media will too. I thank Nick for introducing her to a more mainstream crowd and I'm loving this remix.

I'll admit I was shocked when I heard him say IT lol, but he isn't a teen, singing with his brothers anymore!!! He is a grown a$$ man now and he is showing it very well. I LOVE the "Chains" and "Jealous" videos and I can't wait to see what's next!
