I'd rate it better than the album version if it weren't for what they did to the non staccatto choir versions. Omitting the final galled me too. The almost-but-not-quite-Roger that kicks off If next kinda killed my buzz. But everything before that is amazing!

No more a "cover band" than Roger's endless rehashing of The Wall or his Us and Them tour. I'm quite certain if David goes on the road again he will be the only original member in a band doing Floyd songs. I'm so happy to hear Nick paying tribute to pre Dark Side material. Got my tickets for Feb 2022 in KC.

I totally concur, kinda cheesy and disrespectful to the legend of Syd. On another note, this version of Obscured by Clouds kicks arse, more tripped out than the original with the spaced out synth. Keep rockin fellow Floyd nerds. 😵

Seems that they're trying to appeal to folks who've gathered to hear an agreed upon "Floyd" sound. I don't know much about the original tracks, but that's what I suspect, anyway. Seems each member has made a Barrett apology at some point. Seems it's Nick's turn. More I read up, more Barrett seems to be a regular Natalie Wood.
