I think this video was done with great respect for Silvio, even tho I can’t speak Spanish it was enjoyable to hear him speak and Nick to translate. Thumbs up to you Nick, for letting us meet some of the people who make Perdomo such a great cigar.

Wow I have so much respect for Perdomo after watching these series of videos. Im a new cigar smoker and Im going to be on mission to find a Perdomo localy so I can really experience this work thats being done here. Thanks for sharing.

I help run an organic vegetable farm, and a lot of what they’re doing here at Perdomo is the same ideas and practices we do. Of course, we’re more limited in what fungicides and things we can use in an organic setting, but regardless everything they’re doing here is smart and proper, and I can tell you that it’s a lot more work than it looks like! Transplant stress is a real thing that people don’t consider.

About how much of the tobacco in an average cigar is grown in house? And what percentage is not used in Perdomo blends and gets sold?

That's a very tough question to answer. There are more manufacturers popping up than farms is all I know.
