Robertson is such a hard working player, and everyone on the team loves him. He deserves a lot more playing time. We just have some messed up lines rn.

Its tough. Hes got talent just lacks defensively quite a bit. Tough spot for the leafs to decide what to do with him

I like Robertson but he's small and gets bullied off the puck too easily. Some games he dissapears and has trouble finding space for his lethal shot. High upside player but I don't see him doing well against Boston or Florida in the playoffs.

He needs to earn more time. He shows up for a game or 2 when he gets back in the lineup then he does appears for 5-10 games. needs to be a tonne more consistent. His injuries have held him back learning that by limiting his chances.

great player, i just don't think he fits on the leafs. good for a skilled 2nd-3rd liner scoring type guy, but we don't really need that. if he was on a rebuild team, like if he got traded to chicago or even pittsburgh that'd be sick

I got to watch Nick play junior in Peterborough. Great talent with a lethal shot. Once he figures out the NHL I think people will be surprised at what he's capable of doing.

@@DANZIG138It doesn’t matter if someone outplays someone, in case you are not aware of how contracts work. He is one of only 2 guys who doesn’t have to clear wavers to be sent down. So when the numbers don’t work as far as cap, either him or Knies have to go down, regardless how well he is playing

This guy has another level, maybe two, so it would be unwise for the Leafs to lose him at this point. Next year they will need low cost guys with talent because it will be the last year of the 11M aav hit tied up with JT. Robertson can play in NHL, but he needs more runway imo & next year should be that opportunity.

I'll take Robertson over those overpaid 11M players. The overpaid dudes are not producing. Nick makes less than 1M bargain and he can produce the same number or even more.
