My MTO arrived 2.5 weeks after I ordered them. 8” Monarch and on the 55 last. Moderate heel

Sweet boots! Great for outdoor work. You'll love them. I have some Nicks Overlanders in 1964 brown. That 1964 leather is a bit easier to break in than most of their other work leathers. Congrats!

Great video, ive been waiting on more footage of the monarch. Ive got a pair of Monarch Moc Toes in the works to complement my builder pros.

I'm seeing that on the recent builds. I ordered this leather combo on Builder Pros. Hoping they look more copper or golden outdoors.

@@qltybootsI didn't get to the Overstock sale in time so I ordered from the 60th Anniversary sale...so they cost more and I couldn't get the Kevlar sole thread I needed....so I might receive them later this year. Honestly, I'm still dialing in my size with Nick's. I think I have the length, last, and width figured out but I have disparate foot and arch length sizes. I may be waiting a few months to get a modified (kind of custom) last with Frank's before I order any more boots. It irks me a little bit that Frank's have a $100 upcharge for many leathers that are standard with Nick's.

@@InGrindWeCrust2010 Yes. Franks charge 100 more for leathers outside their standard work leathers. But they do have 12-16 weeks lead time so that’s one positive thing. I hope that you have figured out the right size.

that 430 oil resisting heel is much better than quabaug on soil slope. Glad you got it.

Really nice looking boots. Ordered my pair in all smooth Monarch but for whatever reason, mine ended up with a nubuck finish. All panels were sanded down which I don't understand considering there is only smooth or roughout options. Your smooth upper is what I was expecting so it sucks my pair got shafted in the production process.

Have you contacted Nicks about that and what did they say? I like how these turned out, so I’m looking forward to start wearing them
