I received this box/chest from my wife for Christmas this year. I highly recommend it. It’s not the most well built box you could possibly own but for the price it’s an excellent choice. I have so much EDC gear & gadgets my wife ordered a different taller one also to go with the box/chest. So my box/chest sits directly on top of the other one it gives me so much more room.

Unrelated to this video, I ended up buying a delica #4 simply because you use it as a size comparison in your videos and I needed something that I could carry into NJ .... i was happily surprised, I still prefer my 940 but really like the Spyderco as well ! TY !

I can't understand a knife collection without a Benchmade 940 or 940-2. Best knives I've ever owned. The pivot lock makes flip opening and closing a breeze.

I saw this and immediately wanted to replicate this set up, the top knife part anyway

I dont have nearly as much. What I found that I like for storage is an old silverware chest. theyre a good size, usually lined with velvet or some other cloth, and often come with a drawer. You can find on Ebay if not unused in a relatives basement or a garage sale.

Ikea's RÄTEÄZS collection is one of my favorites. It goes well with the PIÊZSÖCHIT shelving system.

EDC box,,,that will take place of my end table and some of my shelves. The wood keeps her classy. I can build one of these to fit my fixed blades. I’m leaning towards a craftsman tool shelf set but this can be used too.

I have an old Ulize that will be hard to beat. Have been waiting to see the Drunken too. Crazy that it will be so expensive... all I want is a slightly bigger Spydiechef.

I have almost the exact same set up, only my machinists box is a cheap harbor freight one.I've got slipjoints, multitools and other knives in the exact same spots though

Those boxes are great for EDC stuff. I use the Harbor Freight version, which I paid 60 bucks for. Spent another 10 bucks or so on improvements.

I have that exact same case as well for knives! I think sootch00 recommended it a year or two back

Hi Nick, I'm new here. Glad I came across you. I'm also a watch collector. It seems a lot of knife collectors are also into watches. I collect rare and vintage watches. I'm also a gun collector, but I shoot every one of them (no safe Queens). I'm not really a knife guy, yet my friends would say differently. I tell them, it's just a part of my gun EDC. Buy, somehow, I seem to have amassed over a dozen and there are about four or five more that I just HAVE to get. I've learned a lot watching you and some of the other smart knife channels. I think I might have gotten the "bug" and I don't mean the Spyderco Lady Bug. Happy New Year!

Step 1 was letting it slip in an old video that you sorta maybe kinda probably liked the Chaparral FRN better than the Delica for EDC. Thought I'd imagined it until just now. Step 2 will be using it as the reference in your knife reviews. Incidentally the Chaparral has been my only pocketknife, having since ignored your sage advice to not-get-into-watches. (I'm a slow learner.) (Kidding. I realize the point of using a reference is as a _reference point_, not necessarily as meaning "the best" in a certain category.) Becoming an acoustician was one of my many previous hobbies. In theory. Looking forward to your wooden toolbox reviews from South Bend Lathe, Starrett, and Gerstner etc.

is it just me or are omega quartz watches for men impossible to find? i have looked at 20 watch webshops in my country and they only had omega quartz watches for women did omega stop making them?
