Galaxy S24 Ultra vs iPhone 15 Pro Max Speed Test 2 - Hello all and welcome to my second-speed test comparison between Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and in this video we will run both these incredible smartphones through a series of real-world speed tests to help you see which has the better performance. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra comes packing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, Adreno 750, One UI 6.1 with the Major February update, and 12GB of RAM. My s24ultra geekbench 6 scores are single-2278 and multi-7268 it beats the iphone's multi 😊 👍 great content Nick,The ambient temperature means alot when trying to get higher scores meaning cooler phone higher scores hotter phone lower scores also battery should be above 75 percent during benchmarks

single core the iPhone is 30-40% faster than the S24U. Most apps do not need multi-threading, so the iPhone has a noticeable advantage in CPU tasks. The GPU is faster in benchmarks on S24U but in real life it still trails the iPhone in gaming due to better optimisation and software.

Yeah the S24 Ultra had some reloads, Subway Surfer and some others if you pay close attention: Amazon, Instagram, Groupon (when you open it again after, then it doesn't reload). I really also don't care about brands ( i have neither) but we have to be fair, the iPhone still wins in 2nd round ram management, it's faster opening most games and it's a bit slower in some smaller apps in the 1st round. Still the S24U is a beast no doubt.

In his latest s23 test s23 didn't reload even 1 app and it has 8gb not 12gb so it's because of 3rd party apps optimisation not the phones , this happens a lot with new phones. If you look at newer s24u tests it doesn't reload a thing because 3rd party app developers fixed it also these apps are trash no-one uses amazon and Groupon I've only seen these apps only on nicks channel in my whole life he should use WhatsApp or safari or chrome os Samsung Internet or KZfaq or Spotify.. u know these apps we a use

The thing to note is that in app opening tests, the CPU utilisation is extremely small and the utilisation percent even differs from phone to phone according to optimisation. But while opening games, a lot more CPU (not GPU) is being utilised, where the iPhone usually does faster openings.

Nick, when you're doing the 4k render the iphone is set to output in .mov while samsung is .mp4. .mov is likely more compressed which would explain the difference in file size output. You should set the iphone to mp4 as well to get a more comparable render result.

It was sad to see that some Android OEMs are using RAM+ to make up the need for more RAM instead of adding more actual RAM. I believe Samsung should have had a 16GB version and that was a fail for me.

It seems that Samsung was going really hard with their animations to speed up their phones. Apple could be faster, and they are still smoother, but they haven’t done a speed update or enhanced animations since like iOS 13. But now that both phones have been out for awhile it actually looks like apps got some updates on the iPhone 15 series just since the last speed test you did between these two. It’s noticeable.

I wish everything was about speed and hardware power. As a long time (7 years) Samsung user who switched to Iphone, mainly because of terrible and unpredictable camera experience on Samsung, iOS feels a lot smoother and consistent. My S23U was sometimes pretty fast when it comes to heavy tasks, but more then often there were hiccups and lags while scrolling youtube or in web browser

this. the hiccups and jittery while navigating an application is what i dont see youtuber talks about. even the strongest android phone still lags. ios as a software is just smoother than android, because developer can just focus on iPhone. unlike android where the dev needs to make it compatible with all kind of brands. im not glazing ios, thats just the fact for now.

@@nickackermanchannel I used to love Samsung then about 3 years ago I switched to Apple. Before the switch I don’t remember the typing on the S models from Samsung being like that. Maybe because I’ve been using the iPhone for so long now when I used my wife’s phone I realized the difference in typing? No Samsung is faster as you can see there is an extra step (google play authentication) which takes time to connect to the server. IPhone doesn’t do that and it allows you to set it later.

As always Android is better. Some games, where Android lost was because it was signing in Google Play account. But overall is Android better. IPhones (and other Apple products) are too expensive for what they offer and for the quality. I'd rather have my first phone (Nokia 6650 Fold) again rather than any Apple product. It has better battery life and does not brake after dropping it from 10cm. I dropped it once from 5 meters and it survived just with little scratch on the back side.

One area where Samsung excels is customizing. IPhone may have a little bit better performance, but customizing is better with Samsung. The notification set up is better on Samsung than Iphone. One Android phone that was a legend was the LG V60Q. It was a excellent phone until carrier support dropped for it. It was only 400$ too.

@@claudiumarchis4525 yes, thats the reason. Iphone has like 10 phones that are getting updates and they are all quite simular. And its the reason why android will never bee as smooth and optmized as apple. But i feel samsung has gone along way in the last 4-5 years And its the reason why so many buy apple. Even tho android fanboys have a hard time understanding it from the hardware point. Apple allways perform better with less or older hardware as slower and less ram, slower storrage. Smaller battery etc

My 14 pro max with 6gb of Ram management holds everything without reloading any apps it’s impressive but I feel like phones are just very advanced and Apple are well optimised

Samsung is really catching up on the performance levels of the iPhone these days and it's only a matter of time that the whole "iPhone performance and ecosystem" mythology bubble bursts and Samsung leaps ahead and then it's all over for Apple. As you notice the whole company revolves around one device and that's dangerous for any company. Samsung or Google will be the reason for Apple's ultimate demise.

How about iphone 15 pro max action button and gestures vs smasungs gestures and goodlocks one handed plus. I'm telling yall goodlocks one handed plus puts that action button to shame. I set 6 action by mere directional swipes. Plus the use of double clicking and long pressing the power button which i set long pressing as a quick mute. Like iphone we also have the ability to double and triple tap for an action. And it works flawlessly

If only iphone design is not that rounded, i'll definitely buy it. The only reason i bought s23 ultra is for its design, i love how the screen almost perfectly rectangular so that the contents that appear is not get cut off

Parece que a ultima atualização ferrou com a performance do s24, em videos anteriores os apps estava abrindo muito mais rápido que o Iphone 15, lamentável a Samsung com essas atualizações mal feitas.
