I just got in today with a distinction scholarship and in the honors college! I'm really excited, it wasn't my top choice but it offered the most scholarships so I'm trying to get to know it!

Mason was horrible in my opinion. Luckily I was over 21 and had a car when I transferred. 1 the campus literally dies during the breaks so kids who stay on campus has no access anything like food or activities. 2 they put no effort into the social events. 3 the kids in NOVA are out of touch with reality (snobby rich kids) . 4 it is literally a go to class and leave enviroment 5 Mason police harass you for anything 6 the quality of education is just not there if it isn’t engineering or CS

from a person who grew up in Fairfax from pre-k to senior year, there are things to do in Fairfax you just have to know what you are looking for. second, if you like the city feel but dont like being in traffic all the time fairfax is good because its usually just a 30 min metro ride into DC if you want to go to museums or art exhibits or clubs, so in my opinion its better that way since you dont get all of the congestion from people trying to go to the museums and instead just get the city vibe. (also the metro is pretty safe you just have to be vigalent and avoid the people who look like bad news
