All the countries have various levels of development but we have to say that Jamaicans do well in athletics They have a special talent

Maybe thats part of it but its also population size as well.

@@mathewlett9104this comment is rubbish, Jamaica is just a dot on the map, China and India in their billions, also most countries around the world population are in their millions with excellent resources, Jamaica is just 2.9m with little to no funding or resources, wi likkle but wi tallawah.
@selvinlinton
@selvinlinton 2 ай бұрын
You can’t make that population argument because Jamaica is extremely successful in track and field at the global levels. Finishing as high as first second and third at world tracking field championships and Olympics in number of track and field medals with an extremely small population when compared to most other countries globally. And while Jamaica has 10 times the population of say Barbados for example it does not send ten times the number of athletes at the Carifta Games
@deematrix4135

Yes! I believe this is more about race than population. Jamaicans and Black Americans have mastered the art, but more respect to the Jamaicans as resources and non comparable to the Americans.

@@britaniawilliams5670 I understand that one is tired and exhausted after such a race but civic pride should not be sacrificed here. A country's flag is sacred and should be treated with utmost respect. Please observe the different international events; the Olympics or World Championship. You will never see athletes from other countries dragging their country's flag on the ground. There is respect for a country's anthem and flag that should never be comprised.
