We are a local lawn and landscaping company based out of Freeburg IL. Family owned/operated and started from the ground up. My brother (Nic) and I (Alex) are doing our best to build a company we will be happy to work in. It has been an adventure and a struggle at times but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! We began our journey on youtube to document our company history and we would be happy to have you along for the ride! We have big dreams and have hardly scratched the surface of where we want to be.

It wld have been better on a business standpoint to keep the old business name and start another LLC under that name as a DBA (Doing Business As). Making your tax structure as an S Corp. Keeping the age of your business is a better business strategy. The age of your business if it is 3 years more is more valuable and equitable than starting a new LLC. Love the channel, love watching your drain work, landscaping, excavation, snow removal.

Ahh, I thought that was a new logo. I saw it on the back of the skid a coupla videos ago, but wasn't sure because you were wearing the old branding. That "N" is pretty sharp.

And when you're making it large, I do recommend the N on its own, then a full NICKENS underneath it, the same width; instead of putting "ickens" next to the logo. The N plus "ickens" on boom arms is a different story, but when you have the space and size, N over NICKENS. Just a recommendation. Looks cleaner that way.

@@nickenslandscapingexcavating for us thats what its all about. Consistent, bankable, year-round contracts. Some people are scared of this kind of work because they think it goes to the low bidder. That does happen but we weed those people out pretty quickly and deal with only high quality clients that are more interested in quality than saving a buck... (Universities, Nicer HOAs,etc...)
