Not sure if you mentioned this. The X40 is Aluminum and thinner, the X55 is Plastic, a bit bulkier and folds out flat. The X40 is actually the (higher) Premium of the two models, but does cost around $20 more vs the X55. 1) X40 vs X55 2) X40 is older model, X55 is newer model. 3) X40 = ~$70, X55 = ~$50 4) X40 does not truly lay flat, X55 lays flat properly 5) X40 is Aluminum Alloy, X55 is Plastic 6) X40 holds watch higher (top of hole), X55 holds watch lower (bottom of hole) 7) X40 cable on back at right, X55 cable on right at back

Just FYI, maybe try testing with the iPhone's battery below 80% because above that percentage the iPhone doesn't trigger the fast charging, hence it might be why you don't see high wattage output from the charger. But nice video showcasing the products and their differences!

Got it too the slow charging is normal above 80 % Also the 30 w output is shared with the 3 devices but once the iphone gets to 80 it will redirect more energy to the others still in need and the other way around

The concept of the 3 in 1 foldable wireless charger is nice but I wish it had a Magsafe ring animation though but can use for Standby mode.

Super helpful video. So the form is nice but the power output, and lack of MagSafe shows, these are probably overpriced.

At 1:02 you say that X55 is the higher-grade model, which is not true. X40 is made out of metal, X55 is plastic.

Thanks for the great review! How about the ‘Heat’ while charging especially Apple Watch. I always hesitate to buy such 3rd party product because I’ve never seen the products with same level of heat control as Apple original.

Super late on this video but did you connect your devices for overnight charging? I need something like this for safe night charging. This seems feasible since I don’t need fast charging for overnight

Today i used it for the first time. I charged my iphone from 20% battery without a case. Unfortunately it stopped charging above 80% due to heating. Anybody else facing the same?
