This slowed version gives so much more. Her voice giving a dramatic touch to it and it takes the lyrics to such a deep space. It sounds so sad and hurtful at the same time. “This time won’t you save me” hits different. ❤️‍🩹💔

The slowed down version really makes you appreciate the break-drum beat. It's not just generic "drum-and-bass" beats but has quite a bit of sound design and variation to it.

This is one of my favorites from Nicki Minaj, the fact when the song comes on it’s like time going by fast when the beat comes in. I always knew this song was sad but it’s beautiful, sometimes I wonder if Nicki was talking about herself? Though she made it story about a woman who pushed the one who love her away, now asking him to save her. For she sees herself giving up 💯!
