They don’t wanna show this side of her, they want her to be the “angry, bitter, black woman”. It’s not her fault that the GP didn’t show love to the new girls. It’s not her fault that when she goes on hiatus, she’s still talked about and is missed so much. Without Nicki, female rap would literally be dead right now. I’m so glad that I grew up listening to Nicki because I know how it feels to see a woman (especially black) running a male dominated field. She’s showing these girls how to do and making it impossible for them (imo expect Doja she’s doing amazing) to keep up. Nicki has been rapping for what almost 20 years, but has been mainstream for 12-14 years. Her longevity is there! Sadly when she retires (frfr), female rap is gonna be a whole lot different. Her going on hiatus is just a sneak peak of what it would be like.

The Queen. She’s done so much, has always fought to become a STAPLE in hip-hop and music culture in general. She is so well spoken, her agumentations are so valid, but she is funny and ironic at the same time. A complete artist in every facet. The only thing I wish was that BET didn’t turn out to be a scam and clowns…
