Nicki’s verse on I wanna be with you is top tier, it should definitely come next

I always thought this music video with the apocalyptic environment + plane crash as the state of female rap. It was nonexistent for several years and it was completely dead, essentially. She comes into the scene in this beautiful car showing that she's the one to revive it. She's the one that will bring life to the genre. The fighting scene, to me, demonstrates that there are "gatekeepers" or at the very least obstacles that try to keep this environment the way it is, that keep female rap dead... but she is willing to overcome and fight everything that comes in her way head on. While all this imagery is happening, she's singing on the bridge "Get ready for it, I came to win". It's almost as if its a PSA or a statement to the industry/world that she will be successful despite whatever they try to throw at her. I also like to think that her cheetah print hair was intentional. It's almost as if she's saying even if you get in the way of me 'flying' to my end destination, I will be a cheetah, the fastest running land animal, and I will find another way to get where I need to go. It's crazy to think about how bold of a statement she's making with this debut album + the themes throughout. It's like she's setting herself up to fail but she always exceeds her own impossible expectations of herself and her career. It's honestly so inspiring. Last thing, probably the most obvious, but her staple color pink being the color of the flowers that grow in this apocalyptic environment is her foreshadowing that Pink Friday will do exactly that.
