It's really sad to see clips of her and Safari, which was her comfort zone but fast forward to meek era where she was already established. You are a couple, you decide together, but keep in mind that she's not yours to control. There's nothing wrong with that, but my father's refusal to let my mother handle shits is the wrong thing. It's like--he doesn't trust her with her decisions and capabilities, and what choices could happen to the both of them and to me.

It's interesting that this video came under recommended and it's 2 years old... Nicki has gone through so much in these last 3 years... this edit has made me appreciate her more. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't a huge fan prior to me noticing how the industry has done her and even Meek... I hope she's okay with her husband now

Afeni Mahogany That's what I always say, he could have been working on his own name. And I'm not trying to generalize but I'm Jamaican and I know how a lot of Jamaican men are . They are stubborn and stuck in their ways so he probably felt comfortable with how successful NIcki was becoming and their lifestyle and didn't see a need for a change himself since life was good

Um, are you for real? So I'm assuming you didnt watch any of the nicki minaj interviews where she is crying, having to admit what really went wrong between them, how they ended and how Safaree was using her money to pay for prostitutes and how he started leeching off of her and getting upset and verbally abusing her when she wouldn't give him the money he was used to her giving him. She also revealed he was the one who leaked those nude pics of her back in 2014. Out of hate for the fact that she got with meek. But she claims she waiting and wanted so badly for safaree to still fight for her despite her breaking up with him, but he didn't. He also lied to the world in all the interviews, tarnishing her name, craft and reputation by alleging that he wrote her music for her. That too turned out to be false. ( which the real Nicki fans/"barbs" alreadt knew was a lie because we knew since day 1 she writes her own Ish. He had to come back out and apologize for lieing on her. Safaree has done sooooooo much to hurt Onika. He also started that whole "Nicki Minaj hate train". He is worse than a "Woman scorned ". But I guess🙄

I honestly feel like they broke up for a reason. They truly loved each other but they needed to separate in order for Safaree to have his own identity. He was tired of being in her shadow. Hopefully one day they’ll get back together. I know they’re both married now but things could change. I really don’t think Nicki feels fulfilled in her new relationship she’s just getting older and she wants to settle down and have children with someone she trusts.
