There some rules you never break in Hollywood. One of them is to not talk thrash about an employer or co-star just after you’ve worked with them. It’s just bad form, and it could potentially destroy your career. That’s just what happened to Katherine Heigl who trashed the comedy flick Knocked Up in which she played a lead role.
Heigl’s career was at an all-time high. She had just won an Emmy Award for her work on Grey’s Anatomy and had made a smooth transition into a feature film. But an ill-fated interview with Vanity Fair changed everything for Heigl, and her career has not seen the light of day since. To find out more details about the interview that ruined Katherine Heigl’s career overnight, watch this video.

Yeah, because feminists love to trash things that people find funny. They thrive off of it. If you portray a woman in any bad way at all, yall think that makes the movie sexist. That's why female characters in many movies nowadays are the boring "strong independent" types with barely any flaws at all, because screenwriters are too scared to write a woman with any flaws because people like you and the Twitter brigade feminists will shit all over it.

Exactly! Like what exactly did Saundra Rimes mean “ when people show you who they are” She was being truthful in saying she didn’t think that her character did anything special to stand out for an award compared to the others and didn’t think it fair ,so Rimes takes it as a insult and writes her character off the show .. how petty . .. she is the one who showed who she was in her actions. Same thing happened to TR knight who played George. He felt his character wasn’t go anywhere and so they killer him off .

I didnt have a problem with her character Allison, I liked her, but I can get why Katherine felt the way she felt. Honestly I hated her role in Knocked Up but reading her criticism about it made me both like and respect her. I do think the most candid thing would have been to talk to the team about her doubts. It's great that she's honest to the media but being honest to your co-workers while being in the process would be even better.

They did a whole documentary on this! As to how men direct women to be these 1d characters. This is the perfect example of misogyny. She acted the way they wanted her too. And she is dead on for her greys anatomy role. I used to like izzys character but they honestly made her character crazy. Falling in love with a patient then he dies. She starts dating Alex, but still has an affair with a ghost. Turns out to be cancer. Like come on! It was a crap season of writing

People forget how often actors improv their lines... It's weird cause I actually liked her performance in the movie knocked up O.o. Rogans character did some dumb stuff and I thought her character reacted fine. A single character in a work of fiction should in no way paint an entire gender to be the same, and if it does, that's on the individual who sees it that way to sort it out.. I've seen plenty of male characters in movies that are 'toxic' but realize its fiction #1 and #2 it isnt a real representation of men. These characters, whether male or female, are fake and we shouldn't look at them as a actual depiction of real people. It's not that serious.

Katherine deserved to be championed for speaking her truth about her experience as a female lead in a Hollywood movie. Seth could have respected her more for that and been more opened minded to learning from her experience, but instead chose to participate in the negative backlash.

I really agree with Katherine. I think when she said that her role in gray´s anatomy was not enough, she meant that Izzy's ending was actually the most stupid and illogical, and yes! It's true, Izzy's ending is so silly, She just leaves, without showing any drama like the other characters (Derek, Mark or Lexie) who have a very dramatic ending.

Lizzie Baggins the thing is men and women will never be equal because we are not the same... men are hard grafters.... women can’t do hard grafting because we don’t have the muscle capacity as men do... as men will never be able to be nurturing like a mother is because men don’t have that natural nurture in them... men are the protectors... the women are the breeders. That’s a fact. Women are better in many ways... and are better in many ways. Women’s bodies and issues are completely different from a mans. And feminism has basically made men more feminine and women more masculine... our rol3s have been reversed and it’s actually made us more unhappy. So shut up

Years ago she was on the opera show getting interviewed by oprah and She talked down about the popular Roswell series she was once on. which sounded disrespectful because it had a lot of fans. All I can say, is that I was looking for her throughout the whole next season of Grey's Anatomy. Liked her bubbly character a lot. She had to play some deranged things, but pulled off everything. The writer(s) of Grey's Anatomy deserve a spanking, in my opinion. They let so many good actors disappear already, that you started to be fond of and subsequently really miss.

I remember hearing all this negative stuff about her, but listening to what she actually said in the interview, it isn't bad at all. It must be really hard to not be able to be authentic in an interview. To just have to fluff everything up, and have nonsense answers to questions that are politically correct so they don't get you censored and cancelled by a society that can't handle real thoughts and opinions anymore.

you're referring to judd right? well, i don't think he proved her point. he just said that he didn't know she felt like that. thats basically all he said. he wasn't being dismissive of what she said, just that he had no clue about her thoughts/feelings about it. seems like katherine never communicated what she felt directly with the him nor the cast on set, hence why the confused reaction to her remarks in the interview after the movie came out. plus the media blew what she said out of proportions, because she wasn't trying to disparage anyone, as some are saying, just her giving her opinion about her work but she still had a good time with crew from knocked up as she stated
