Fantastic video Okelleys! The Outremere marketing folks must be pinching themselves to think they’ve signed up for over 100,000 people to watch 20 minutes of content that’s so heavily focused on their product. Oh my - epic journey here! This reminds me of my days working with large project contractors (i.e. interstate highways, dams, etc.) when the project owner announces which general contractor will be awarded the contract.... it's a moment of "Yea man, we cot the job", to then privately "Holy XXX, we got the job"! So excited for you two and all the Outremer team! Safe travels, and Happy Holidays!

Seeing more detailed views of the interior, this yacht screams quality wherever I look. Very impressed. Everything appears to be top-notch and placed in the perfect location. I can see why there's such a vast Outremer customer base and demand for their yachts. They earned their great reputation. Congrats once more and enjoy the holiday season!

Beautiful boat and just excellent video shots of the time on water. Very high quality film. I hope you end up finding a way to own this boat! Would be hard to go back to a smaller older Catamaran after this experience I would think.

How wonderful for Outremer to recognize that they lost a lot of visibility when SLV moved to Rapido. All the major cat builders are on a major YT channel. Matthieu and team made a great choice in selecting a channel that will bring back the visibility to the crown jewel of the Outremer line. I know you 2 will do a great job promoting the quality and capabilities of the boat.

This was by far one of the best videos you have made. It’s your new style and the way you guys are taking the shots. The well constructed clips, insight, and information. It gave me a sense I was with you while doing the test sail. Now you don’t have to make them this amazing the time. Because it’s becomes the new normal and makes your life harder.

Yes, intimidating…yes or at least that’s the right perspective to have. It’s like flying a fast airplane…anticipate, be procedural, trust the numbers, and stay ahead of it. That being said, we had her out in real wind yesterday, and we didn’t have a spooky moment. Just a lot to learn about systems and handling. We’ll get there.

I like your analogy. lol. Those of us who have lived rural and then moved to the city know that they each have their charms and there can be a yearning no matter. It’s what they bring out in you. Our fixers have made us better mechanics, electricians, canvas makers, etc. This boat will make us better sailors and we’ve already learned a ton about integrated systems, but I won’t be rewiring or doing any mods on this boat. There’s good fun in those too. So, will she spoil us for anything less than the best? I guess, maybe. Or maybe we carry our new knowledge into another fixer someday. Hard to say. Life is one great experiment!

Great to see you on Outremer! I guess you may leave LGM just before we arrive there. Our O52 "No Regrets" is probably moored on same pontoon with your boat at the moment, as we have our handover scheduled for Jan 16th.

Thanks for a brief tour of the boat and summary of the running rigging. All seems pretty well thought out and functional. 14:23 LOVED the visual cues from the wake of correctly vs incorrectly balancing boat trim. You guys have so much experience PLUS a healthy attitude for learning that you should have no problem getting a lot out a performance boat. Enjoy, and thanks for bringing us along! Definitely looking forward to the videos along the way. Having Starlink for permanent Internet must be a huge plus too.

BougeRV Cigs aka Yuma panels are walkable and by far are the most durable and gives you more output even if 3/4 the panels is shaded it still produces. pricey but the competition only lasts 5 years and these should last up to 25 years for a flexible, walkable panel hello. also there sizes are impressive. 200,400 and 800 watt panels. I also agree about the amount of solar at least 2500 watts but as much as possible trying to get to 5kw of panel production.
